I have just started looking at your reviews on a few things. Very well done & informative. I must say the way you review is fantastic. As for this particular taclight I bought nite core MH27 1000 lumens & also the HC30 headlamp also a 1000 lumens. I am very pleased with both. Best lights by far I have ever had. What is really nice about both these lights is they come with 18650 rechargeable batteries. Also the MH27 you can charge while batteries are still in the light. I have gotten good use out of both of them so far.

Thanks for a very nice review. I too searched on Amazon and saw a number of similar flashlights with lower prices. I wonder if they are manufactured by the same company but I guess hard to know. And there are so many fake reviews on Amazon that you don't know unless you try it out then return. Thanks again

Yeah, it's hard to tell if those flashlights have the same internal parts. Glad you enjoyed the review!

i have had mine for a year or two now and i use an EBL BRC18650 3000MAH 3.7V LI-ION rechargeable battery and its been one of the best lights i have owned. to bulky for edc but great for taking the dog out after dark. i use a mini maglight for my edc but looking to get a olight m2r worrior or similar to replace it

It's bright very briefly with brand new batteries. Not 40X brighter. But let's say you use it for just 1 minute a night for about a week, it's far dimmer. It survived a few drops here and there but finally broke inside after a drop. I would not buy this thing or any Bell and Howell flashlight.
@GLOCKATTACK408 жыл бұрын
You can simply buy the flashlight at your local Walmart ($19.99) Canadian. Only new flashlight that does NOT tell how my lumens it is! It is about the same as my 350 Lumen flashlights. A good "household" flashlight at best. Nice review but you did not drive over it! lol

Its worth it. Picked one up for 21 dollars at a corner store in Northern Ontario. Under street lights is a little hard to show how it really works. When your in the bush, in the middle of the night in -40 below, it makes the forest light up as if a ufo was landing right in front of you.

These are simple cheap Chinese flashlights that they put their name on. You can get a 5-pack of these lights for under $20 under another brand name at Amazon. There also is a 5-pack version that runs just as bright on a single AA battery too. Ordering from Bell + Howell, you might not ever get the light (they'll tell you it's out of stock, but keep your money), & they don't ever honor their warranty. Better off getting it under another brand name a lot cheaper at Amazon.

I agree. It's definitely not water-proof. Even though it worked after being in the water for a short time, I wouldn't recommend anyone actually use this under water.

You left out one very important test -- HOW LONG DO THOSE AAA BATTERIES LAST???? AAA is an awfully small battery and normally don't last very long in high-power outputs.
Though this is somewhat better than the others, in that the LED is an XM-L2 (genuine unless LatticeBright figured out how to fake the XM-L2); most others have an older XM-L T6 (sorry, "XML-T6", since LatticeBright can't even spell it properly) LED. I've actually confirmed this personally.

Thats the worst flashlight I've ever had . As a fact I ordered it directly on the phone instead they sent me the gen 1 with the orange button NON magnetic, overheating if used over 10n minutes. Spoke with customer service and got a $5 refund for a $30 order. Go ahead and get rip off from false advertisements and scammers.
