Saga is kind of better than Flametail because of her higher damage multiplier and second-life passive. She's definitely more consistent than Flametail but Flametail S3 can turn her into a semi-centurion with 2 blocks for a couple seconds. Though Saga S2 and S3 does the same and maybe even better than Flametail's S3 (Maybe S2 as well).

There IS a second source of healing, but it's Saileach S2, and while it is an AoE heal (and buffs too) the heal itself is fairly low. There IS a second healer though in the end (though 99% of the time she'd likely be used for S3 instead of S2, so eh)

Might be interesting to have an operator that benefits from DP generation speed somehow. Not in a trivial manner, like merchants, but somehow more involved, so that many vanguards benefit them.

@@isaacyoung4601 had something like that in IS2 thx to temp. operators. Started with ,i think her name was frost(?), a trapper with pistol and shotgun ,jaye and temp. myrtle. Later i added bagpipe, temp. Siege, temp. Maggalan , Elysium, roberta(?) Trapper and that other summoner who summons and then blows up those mechacats. Was a fun run but i again failed at phantom boss.

She’s not nearly as bad as people make her out to be, sure she’s can’t burst big guys like Bag but her damage is still respectable and Arts, she can hold her own fine; plus she’s a 5* so more readily accessible and upgradeable.

I can attest that she is actually a pretty legit op of her own, I'd say even more consistent than Vigna, but she has the problem of being in the worst vanguard category Bagpipe is exception) and being continuously compared to Vigna which is slightly worse (or better) but only as a 4 star. What people keep forgetting is that she regenerates 2 sp per kill on skill which can be pretty effective combined with Saga and Zima. Not to the level of Flagpipe but still decent. Doesnt matter though she never leaves my team lol

Reed does have a niche for Vanguard knights. Having natural res makes her better at eating caster hits than anyone aside from Flametail's S3. Her S2 is a respectable answer to a fair number of problems too
