SO, hijabis tend to freak out thinking about the wedding and showing their husband their hair. Don't freak out :) Also I know there is another opinion in regards to when your husband/fiance can see your hair

Actually it's quite similar to how a girl that doesn't wear a hijab might feel when being intimate with a boy for the first time! I never thought of this perspective since I'm used to not covering my hair but it makes sense that it's similar!

Believe me. If a woman can cook, keep the house clean and welcome her husband when he comes home, you are a QUEEN in his eyes. Beauty fades but skills stay for ever
@ShrinkingViolla8 жыл бұрын
You don't need to do that for him to love you. He should love you regardless. A wifes job isn't to be his maid. She does those things out of love, not obligation.

+Umm-Adil Awww. I like this comment. Rings true!
@Savage-jk5he8 жыл бұрын
Why do women have a problem with doing something nice for their husband i just don't understand. Cooking is showing an act of love, shows that you appreciate him. It's like a husband saying i don't need to be a gentleman and treat my wife the right way, what am i a slave. I bet you're single and theirs a reason why. Women who take care of their husbands are what the original comment stated a QUEEN. In order to be treated like a Queen, you must act like one. Love is shown through actions, loving someone regardless is a recipe for failure.
@Savage-jk5he8 жыл бұрын
***** That is clearly a sexist statement right there. So i have to treat you right but it's up to you if you feel like treating me right. Nowhere did i say cooking is an obligation, its an act of appreciation, guys love it when a women can cook, just like women loves it when guys buy them nice things. I am not obligated to take you out, to buy you a diamond ring or to open doors for you, but guys do it because they love you. You're not entitled to shit, with an attitude like that why should i do anything for you. when a man describes a "good" women cooking is usual on that list i guarantee you. An regarding your comment about a Queen... that title is honoured not given, if every women was a Queen according to your logic than being a Queen wouldn't be anything special. Just like a guy earns the title of a King.

my father was a muslim , I knew him , or rather met him , I have never worn hijab well other than in Nigeria and visiting the mosque with my ex husband , that's how come I am only 44% white when he is part white too , he is arab/jewish /oriental and white basically ... , i'm happy just being me I pray to god , but follow no religion

Hi, I'm a new muslim :) ! The Quran claims to be written by God Himself (Muhammad could not read or write actually), maybe find out if it's true or not ? because if it is then you are not praying to Allah [just means 'The God'] like you _should be_ (Some people do worship God but in weird weird ways like human sacrifices or dancing or praying to saints or the famous 'I'm not religious but I'm spiritual'). And let's not forget that He sent ~124000 prophets like Adam/Abraham/Moses/Jacob/Jesus/Muhammad to show us His way, Islam (means 'Submission'); rejecting His way taught through His prophets doesn't seem fair to the One who made you and to Whom you will return to. Just a genuine advice, hope it doesn't come off rude. May Allah guide you, have a lovely day :)! And wow you are a grandmother of 4 that's so amazing!!
@jitaamesuluma97308 жыл бұрын
I do not believe in religion , I believe in the god within , all beliefs say god is everywhere , this is one thing I know , I can not turn my face from what my ancestors tell me is right , that is to love all and not one , that goes for beliefs too , I ask the creator to guide me , not a book , I think that if religion works for you that's good, then its your right path but I find peace in nature and prayer , not in religion
@karimkhadijahshakur9218 жыл бұрын
you make no sense how can you be a muslim but not be religious islam is a religion god revealed the verses of the quran through angel jibril (Gabriel) on to the prophet pbuh
@TheFleurChic8 жыл бұрын
Jita'ame suluma We don't pray to a Book nor de we worship our own self nor a man ["Jesus was but a messenger" (Quran)] we pray to Allah/God Alone. Maybe read His revelation=the Quran. It would be sad to find out too late that the One you call 'the god within', is actually outside of His creation and created you for a purpose. Besides, your ancestors can be wrong, think about it. *Allah says: "And when it is said to them, "Follow what Allah has revealed," they say, "Rather, we will follow that which we found our ancestors doing." Even though their ancestors understood nothing, nor were they guided?*. Check out the videos on bayyinah.org to learn about Islam from a great (&friendly) professor. Just an advice. May Allah increase us all in guidance.

I wish hair wasn’t such a big deal. Most men from where I’m from marry women just cause of their hair subhanAllah. They’d be like I wanna marry a mixed race girl or Arab cause I know they have good hair. Some even go to the extent to demand that they want their wife to have long hair. That’s the criteria.

Axel Grey we are just lucky by having Islam as we born but it makes you only better than all of us when you struggle towards it, and Allah gives you unlimited forgiveness ones you accept it and at that moment your sins record is zero. Your record starts then. If you are new muslim congratulations and welcome sister, if you are still in the struggle of finding the true guidance of your creator, we pray for you good luck.

Many women look more attractive in a hijab than without. A guy should know how a woman looks without hijab and makeup to see what she looks like before committing to spending the rest of his life with her.

not everyone has great hair..sorry to break out to you but girls sometiems makea great deal out of hair, the most beautfiul part of girl is her face not her hair.. period when it was my turn i hardly noticed her hair! I don't want to break out it to girls, but not girls all have great hairs and even if they take off hijab they just look average as some girls (even told me) they look better with hijab because they have dry/less quanity hair.
