Here's something interesting That queen sacrifice line in the Samisch was also reached in Leela vs Stockfish, game 86 in which Stockfish won the game as black. In the parallel game 85, Stockfish played 13. Nh3 as white (and could only get a draw) which is alao the most played line in that line (which has been reached many times before) but in the complicated position, Leela played the passive 13. Qd1 which was a new move and never seen again in top tier chess to my knowledge.

How do you remember the whole games?
@David-jf3uf
@David-jf3uf 3 жыл бұрын
@@marcin8865 I doubt he knows every single move by heart. But a longtime fan/follower of chess or chess history would be able to recount significant variations of otherwise standard chess games. A soccer fan could recall momentous moments in the sport history but would be unlikely to know the time of day the game was played or the temperature of the air that day. You remember the important, significant, stuff.

this is by no means a confirmation, but after a quick search, if we assume the 93 in the username is a birth year and the player is American, it could only be either GM Conrad Holt or Steven Zierk. I dont know much about these players but wikipedia says Holt is a strong internet blitz player, so that would be my guess.

@@axnnxa1857 if we consider all countries and stick with the assumption that 93 is the players birth year, two interesting names that pop up are Wesley So and Nils Grandelius. I originally didnt spot So even though he is American because I was looking at the countries where they earned their titles.

Hey Antonio, just so you know, today in Vigo, Spain, Anatoly Karpov is going to play a exhibition game against Abel Caballero, the mayor of Vigo, who's gonna get some help from spanish masters. I think he also is gonna play some simultaneus games against the finalists of the tournament TRAVESIA MASTER CHESS. A bit of trivia: Abel Caballaro is the mayor of Vigo, one of the biggest cities in the northwest of Spain. He's quite known right now in Spain because of his reckless expending with Christmass lights for the city, witch he's increasing it year after year. There are so many of them that they have to install some in the middle of summer. He even challenged via video the mayors of Paris London, Berlín, Tokio and New York, saying that they cannot rival with the night lights of Vigo during Christmass. I don't how the game will turn out, but i would love to see it on your channel. Love your work! #suggestion
