Hikaru Nakamura is one of the best blitz players in the world of chess. In fact when the Tata Steel Chess India began he had an Elo of 2909 making him the number one blitz player in the world. In the last round of the tournament he was up against Praggnanandhaa, one of the best talents out there. It was an encounter that everyone was waiting for! Hikaru had the white pieces and opened with 1.c4. Pragg responded with 1...e5 and we had an extremely original position after just a few moves! Who came out on top? Did the world class GM win or the prodigious 17-year-old youngster?

Hikaru was looking away from the board most of the time . Most of his moves were premoved in his mind. Prag tried all sorts of Tricky tactics but they didn't work at all in front of Hikaru's superiority.

I am new to chess, can't understand a lot of moves but at the end, the checkmate move was mind blowing . I wanted some help, i play a game called chess king, I can beat the bot till medium level but at the hard mode, i always lose. I want to excel till the grandmaster level bot . So please tell my how can I defeat the bot at hard level. I am playing with the bot( hard level) from the past 6 months
@alonehands1835
@alonehands1835 Жыл бұрын
bots will not help you in developing your game, playing strong human players and solving tactics will get you far and if you are older than 15 being a grand master is impossible or extremelyyyyyy difficult , so just enjoy the game instead of trying to reach some arbitrary level which is almost impossible to attain for 99% of the general population
@utkarshvijay8136
@utkarshvijay8136 Жыл бұрын
@@alonehands1835 i agree that playing real humans is necessary but I want to learn some basic tactics and moves that will help in competing against them. If I can not defeat hard level bot then how can I defeat good human players?
@bohemiankhichdi1090
@bohemiankhichdi1090 Жыл бұрын
@@utkarshvijay8136 That's not how learning works. The very AI bot you are trying to beat also didn't learn that way. It probably played thousands of real games against a rival engine or itself. You need to play entire games against real humans to get used to pattern recognition. Suggestion - Play one opening with white and one with black and stick to it. That way, you can master said opening and the different variations that arise out of those.
