Hiking Blackstock Knob - Pisgah National Forest

This hike takes place in the Pisgah National Forest east of Ashville, North Carolina just off the Blue Ridge Parkway. The goal of this hike is the summit of Blackstock Knob (6,320’). This trail is moderately easy class 1 trail and bushwhack.
The trailhead is located at the Walker Knob Overlook (see Directions link below). Plenty of parking is available. Follow the Mountain-to-Sea trail (MTS) north out of the parking lot.
