Got a good laugh at the PreFlight check list to operate the darn thing, but i was waiting for that comment. Very funny. Enjoy the rest of your vacation. Looking forward to seeing you back in the cockpit. Say hi to your dad for me.

Your comment about being a pilot and being afraid of heights. My dad was a professional pilot for 45 years. And flew the Citation X. He was deathly afraid of height so much so he could not get on a ladder to hang Christmas lights. Though he had no problem flying at FL of 45,000. I have heard of a few pilots that are like you and my dad. A very cool and nicely down video, thanks.

I am glad you enjoyed my wonderful state! Thanks for sharing the video, I have not seen some of those places before which is a shame because I live here in Montana. However, Montana is a large state and there many wonders to see. Steve, Grizzly bears are very elusive and at most times they will spot you long before you will ever see them if at all. I work for a place in Wyoming and I would work in the hunting camps, in the 8 years I worked and rode horse back into the Teton Wilderness I have only seen one Grizzly. At any rate I am glad that you and your dad enjoyed your trip. Please come back and join us again!

Want to know the difference between black bear and grizzly bear scat? Black bear scat has assorted berries and grasses, whereas grizzly bear scat consists primarily of bear bells, bear spray, hiking boots and cameras.
@paulbergman82288 жыл бұрын
Yah, there is this sign at a trailhead, "This is a bear habitat area, so be sure to wear bells on your shoes and carry bear spray. You can tell the bear species by their scat. Black bear will have purple scat and have seeds in it, grizzley bear scat will smell like pepper and have bells in it!"

Hey Steve, Thanks for the video, it was great. Nice that you think of sharing with us! I am pretty sure that was a grizzly cub - about 2 - 3 year old. Black bear cubs are really black most of the time. I have lived in the British Columbia wilderness for 15 years and have actually come across a Grizzly sow and 2 cubs will doing a search and rescue hike and it is not something you go looking to have happen. A good grizzly is one you never see! That pepper spray is likely to only make it made. Unless you are view a grizzly through binoculars, it is likely going to be a bad day. The good news is, they usually want to stay away from us - we stink and are noisy! You had me scarred at the end when you were in that high alpine meadow. When I am back country hiking I take the dog and make lots and lots of noise to scare the bears away. Anyway, I have been to Glacier a couple times and your video brought back lots of fond memories. It is a wonderful, magical place. Glad you had the chance to enjoy it. You should come visit BC. That kind of country is around every corner! Love it here.

What Great Quality time with your dad, Steve I could see that your dad really enjoyed watching you lead the way through the paths, going up that mountain. Both of you were out of breath, It was just like I was there with you all. and totally out of breath myself.lolAs always you have been kind enough to allow us the pleasure of going along with you on some of the Most Beautiful adventures in the UNITED STATES. , I don't know too many people that are NOT afraid of heights unless you're a steel walker in construction. As I watched the young men jumping in the ICE COLD water of the Glacier I had cold shivers go down my spine , just thinking of what if they broke their legs jumping into a shallow area of the lake. and how hard it would be to get them out of there with all of the bears around that could smell the blood. he he I've always been like that . but willing to help them if that did happen to them. any way, this video was great, if just shows some of the best that America has for Vacation spots . and I personally thank you for sharing. I hope the Cuba Thing doesn't take a life of it's own, and goes smoothly for you. Your Friend ,Tom
