Yes, I still used the blankets at the tea houses, the sleeping liner was more of a clean layer that was light and small enough to hike with.

Informative video and great videgraphy. Did annapruna circuit few years ago and wanting to do a another one in nepal eversince. Looks like Manslu is a better option than overrated everest base camp trek. Thanks again for the information not many nepal videos sumerize the information this well. Manaslu is the premier top-level hike in Nepal. Nothing else comes close. You can do Annapurna... beautiful but crowded with endless fat turds hiring a jeep to arrive at a nice vantage point, and then walking back to the nearest burger bar! You could trek to EVB camp.... on a seriously busy / touristy trail.... only to crawl back to your starting point having never put in any real effort. Manaslu is for those of us who are willing to take a risk on a genuinely difficult trail, with massive physical effort and dangerous paths... but are rewarded with vistas beyond imagination.

Manaslu you cannot do with out a guide and from the best of my knowledge, you cannot do any of the major hikes solo anymore, as the government have changed the policy. If you want a very good guide, please contact my friend Udaya, his IG is in the description.

No it is not possible to just 'turn up without a guide and just "wing it"...'. Permits to Manaslu are very specific on this matter. If that is as far as your brain has taken you... I would advise you to holiday in Benidorm.
