Hiking Picacho Peak State Park (Tucson Arizona)

Hiking in Picacho Peak State Park was an incredible experience. Located just 30 minutes north of Tucson Arizona this hike won't disappoint. It's fairly flat until you start your ascent up the cables. MORE INFO
We decide to do this hike in mid-Novermber and the temps were great. Boondocking nearby makes it easy to get an early start. We highly recommend bringing some rubber-coated gloves for the cable section. This is what RV life is all about. Don't forget to subscribe!

@@AdventureEndeavor Yep, enjoyed staying there quite a bit. Especially in the spring when the Mexican gold poppies are in bloom, if it's been a rainy winter. Then it's really beautiful. However, you can hear an occasional train at night.

Just hiked the hunter trail (on the other side) up to the peak but found the peak hike itself to be a little too intimidating so maybe next time. Amazing hike down the sunset trail. Tomorrow taking the sunset trail and then down the hunter trail. The Hunter trail is quite interesting if you didn't get a chance to do that one. Camping in the park until Tuesday. Where is that boondocking spot? Looks great!
