Wow😮 that trail up to the top was something else and the line of people ascending to the top was crazy 😳Glad it wasn’t raining that day 🫣The lake scene at 3:18 to 4:14 was beautiful and hearing the water washing upon the shore…. zen moment for me😉Loved the views at the top of Cadillac Mountain . So glad I get to experience all these beautiful places via your KZbin channel 😊❤ As always so proud of you !! Love you!!

Thanks so much for watching, Mom! Yeah we weren’t super thrilled by the line of people, but we didn’t have to wait too long which was good! The Bowl Lake and Cadillac Mountain were equally impressive on their own right. Glad I get to share these places with special people like you! Love you!

Let's keep this going! 0:15 This track is my favorite musical choice for beginning a video. Also, "last day at Acadia" makes me sad. 1:35 You're right, this is a great shot. I appreciate all the background information. I don't think I even knew about the Beehive Trail until after my visit. I don't remember seeing it from the beach, weirdly enough. 2:30 It really does look like the Precipice-lite. And this view of Sand Beach if spectacular. I'm going to need to do this on my next trip 😁 4:00 I'm glad you included the sound of the waves in these shots. I love these mountain ponds. Maine seems to have a lot of them. I could watch the lily pads in the gentle waves all day. 4:40 Okay, I get it now. This is why they call it the beehive. And you weren't kidding about the conga line 😂😂 6:08 The mountains in the Smokies might be five or ten times taller, but you don't get these views in Tennessee, that's for sure. 6:45 This reminds me of the JMT. 7:42 😲🤤 How did I not know about these!? That thing is a post-hike meal in itself! 8:25 I was so pumped to see this sunrise when I was there, but the mountain was completely socked in 😢 I wonder how rare it is to have a clear view at sunrise. 8:43 I think is my favorite shot of the episode. 9:15 Great group shot at the end! I'm really enjoying re-watching these. It feels more like a continuous adventure this way. On to the next!

Rapid fire session, round 2! - I highly recommend using the “starred” feature on the YT music library page. It has really made it feel like I will never have to by a copyright free music subscription now that I know I have over 100 songs to choose from, including this one! - This angle definitely made it look like Jason was hanging off the side of the mountain! If you were ever back in Acadia, it’s definitely worth the time to hike it. It’s pretty short, and then you add The Bowl and Gorham to it which gives you more diversity. - You got the seal of approval from BB to do it! - I had no expectations for The Bowl before we continued on, as we did no prior research. But I was pleasantly surprised. Wonderful, serene lake. - Thank goodness I had that zoom lens to capture that conga line! - You got that right. The expansive, almost 360 degree views are hard to beat. - I remember that section of the JMT! Near the Honey Creek Loop, right? - I’m pretty sure I was the only one out of the four of us who like whoopie pies! I had half of the Fey’s, too haha! - I bet it is really difficult to time it right. I was happy we had a view that afternoon. It easily could have been socked in as well. - The lighting was just on another level during this shot. And it makes me glad to have HDR to push, because the shot didn’t look nearly as good enough I bumped up the contrast. - My mom finding that old film camera of my grandmother’s was a real treat! It has been fun to see the developed pictures and incorporate the scans into videos like this. And I hope the continuity continues to feel that way with the entire video coming out this weekend! Thanks again bro! On to round 3!

Wow, there's no shortage of views in Acadia! I'm a big fan of Oreos so that Whoopie Pie looked delicious😋 Looking forward to the next one!

You are so right! We only scratched the surface of the views at Acadia from this trip, it’s definitely a must return! And surprisingly that whoopie pie tasted a lot like the Oreo cake versions, so you’re not far off! Thanks for watching, OO!

Good one brother! Would love to visit but that line of people... 🤯 when you mentioned the rain making it difficult, it reminded me of the first time I visited High Rock and Slip n Slide rock, on the PMT. It was raining and I had trail runners on. I had to scoot along on my butt to get across 🤣. I had forgotten about Cadillac Mtn. That sunrise would be EPIC!

Thanks for watching brother! Yeah The Beehive sounds like it’s always packed cause it’s the easier version of The Precipice, but it still went pretty fast! I can imagine those rocks on the PMT to be deadly when wet! I’d still be on that mountain if I didn’t have those micro spikes when I came down high rock in all that snow! It would be cool to revisit Cadillac for a sunrise or sunset!
