Thanks for watching, Crow. Yes it is a beautiful area, if you can see past the ugliness (post-forest fires). Great hiking area ... Mount Assiniboine Provincial Park.

Great video documenting a less known side of Mt Assiniboine park. Hopefully you can get to Magog lake and Also Og lake which is less known but very nice.

You're right Rolin ... Og Lake is very nice. I first hiked in that area in the mid-80's. Quick story ... we camped at Og Lake our first night in from Sunshine (heading to Kananaskis Lakes), and back then you tented on the shore up from the lake. Sloped a bit, but still good. Anyway, middle of the night, I thought I was dreaming, something was scratching the bottom of my feet. Woke up, and discovered that my sleeping bag had slid a little bit, the foot section of my bag was up against the wall of the tent, and a porcupine was scratching the wall of the tent where my feet were against, presumably attracted to the sweat of my feet (it was July, and it had been a hot day). That was a weird sensation lol. Gog Lake is another nice spot to walk through. Thanks for watching!

Went fly fishing along that River, but only went about 5 km In as I was solo . Always wondered if there was any good holes beyond as the river got rocky and fast . Was nice to tag along on your adventure and see what the camp site etc looks like if I decide to go further next time . Thanks for the great video

The cabin is in a great spot, and would be a perfect base camp. Thanks for watching.

Ha, I saw the Aug 26 &27 date but not the year and was wondering how on earth it wasn’t pouring rain on you. I was on the Rockwall and it was monsoon! I then noticed your date was 2020, not 2022
