I have been wanting to do this hike for years! I was very excited at the last week of March, I finally pulled the trigger! I looked for people who would hike it with me on different group pages but unfortunately, I didn't get any luck. Either way, I was going to do it with or without company.
I found a home for the night that is a few walks away from the Ridgeline trailhead I couldn't be happier! Every campsite here has an incredible view! I started the hike almost five in the morning when the coyotes were howling and the birds were chirping as the sun rose in the sky of the Superstition Mountain. As I walk the dark trail with only headlamp lighting my way. I remember the old me. I would not walk this dark trail, especially with cayotes howling around me, because I would be terrified even with the idea of doing this by myself in the first place. I just started the trail, and I am already proud of myself, not even getting yet to the other end. After over an hour of ascending the side of the mountain in the dark, the place is getting brighter with the beautiful scenery and sound of nature. It makes me so happy even when scrambling in the dark. The view seems to be the reward I get after the hard climb. As the sun rose in the sky, the view starts to unfold and it gets better the farther I walk in the wilderness. Aside from the two people I met that came from the Hieroglyphic trail, nobody else was hiking the Ridgeline. It was about 43 degrees cold up there with clouds passing by. I ended my hike with still a lot of daylight. I am very lucky to have a friend that is willing to pick me up tat the other side of the trail. After dinner, on our way back to where I left my van, he showed me the view of the Superstition Ridgeline and I couldn't be any prouder or myself!

The 360 views around is amazing! from city to wilderness. But my favorite is the wilderness, I could stare at it for days. I'm glad you enjoyed watching!

A very beautiful area to hike in. Loved the cayotes howling at the start of Superstition trail making it kind of spooky.

That’s such a great hike, thanks for sharing. We live a short distance from the Sups and get to hike them frequently. Years ago we did Ridgeline as a backpacking trip and came out down Flatiron where we parked a second car.

Heyyyy! Glad to see you’re back at posting videos. EXCELLENT VIDEO btw! 😎🤘💪 That Ridgeline trail is no joke, it has some tricky sections. I went to Superstition Peak 5057 a couple of weeks ago, made it an out and back via Carney Springs stopping at Three Sisters on my way back.

Hey, thanks! It really is a tough hike, but I enjoyed it more than anything! Did you do the loop from Hieroglyphic trail and came out to Carney Springs? Three Sisters view are awesome too! I love the Peak 5057 specially when it was hugged by clouds

@@sunkissedmary did not do the loop this time. I parked at Lost Goldmine East Trailhead and went on Lost Goldmine Trail until it intersects Carney Spring. So, I went up Carney Springs Trail to the Ridgeline and then to 5057 and Three Sisters, then back to Carney Springs.😎👍 Might do the Ridgeline or Hieroglyphic to 5057 sometime soon, before it gets too hot 😉
