Awesome video Chloe nature never ceases to amaze. Looks like a great place to explore and discover. Enjoyed the wildlife that bird at 6:33 had a really cool color pattern. Thanks for sharing 👍

Thank you for coming along with me! It is lovely there isn't it...although the beautiful weather did help. It's hard for anywhere to not look nice in the sun!

I really enjoy learning from you about the wildlife you see and what to look out for ourselves when we are out and about. Beautiful filming, you feel as though you are along for the walk with you. And wow that weather was a gift, shorts weather and blue skies alway bring joy!

Wasn't it just! It never fails to amaze me how much of a mood lifter good weather can be. Your comment made me smile so much Betty, my goal for this year was to learn more about the nature around me and share it with others, so I am so glad that it is coming across a little! Thank you so much for taking the time to watch :)

Another great video Chloe, your life has change and you will never be the same after discovering Crisp Sandwiches. You can eat gorse bush flowers, I love em, the wife hates em, and blackthorn flowers are my fave! You always look so happy after your walk. X

Honestly it really does feel that way! 😂 I will now always feel a sandwich is missing something without crisps 😂 I had no idea you could eat gorse flowers! Thank you so much for telling me... I shall have to try one on my next wander and see if I agree with you or your wife!x

Wow this really does seem like such a gorgeous place to lose yourself! I love how you included the names of the plants and the latin names too, that's such a beautiful and unique addition to the video! New friend here to support you! :)

It really was! It is such a large area too, I could have wandered for a lot longer than I did. I am trying to learn the latin names of species so I like to include them, I am glad you enjoyed them too :) Thank you so much for taking the time to watch, your support is so greatly appreciated!

George Harrison wrote "Here comes the sun " at Eric Clapton's house between Ewhurst and Peaslake in April 1969, after a "long cold lonely winter". He felt the same way you did, in the same place you were, for the same reasons you did. It's a beautiful part of the world.

Wow. I am, of course, familiar with the song, but I never knew that backstory. It gives it a whole lot more depth and meaning, and makes me want to revisit this area and enjoy it all the more. I can really see how it inspired the song and its lyrics. Thank you for sharing that with me Nick (and for taking the time to stop by), I really appreciate it.

Brilliant Chloe - the spring worked its magic on you. Forget the carrot of the cheese straw (whatever that is) the sun, flowers, forest and predators up above was food enough for the day. I was trying to get the name of the forest. I think it's Hurtwood. Any way, just checked it out. Wow, it's fairly extensive West to East. You could feel remoteness and wildness there for sure. Any way, admire your knowledge. Take care. Mark
@ChloeRoseHarrison2 жыл бұрын
Thank you, Mark! Yes, it is Hurtwood, you are correct! I think it extends into a lot of different named areas because as you said, it is a very extensive area, but around Hurtwood and Peaslake was where I explored. The main trails were quite busy and are popular with mountain bikers, but once you get away from those it feels as though you could wander for quite some time and feel alone in the world, which is always a peaceful feeling. Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment, I really appreciate it :)

@@ChloeRoseHarrison A pleasure Cloe. I thought it was the wood - it could only be that one near said village. A bit similar to the large woodland around here then. You have your main paths and off them we can often find solitude. Happy to have discovered your channel. Have a great weekend.

Hi Chloe. New subscriber ! Beautiful countryside & I loved the shots of the Kestrels, the Nuthatch & was that a young Water Deer ? I too live next to rare lowland heath, Waldridge Fell in Co.Durham, an excellent place for wildlife. Look forward to catching up with your other videos xx

Hi Michael, thank you so much! I am honoured that my videos offer you enough value to make it worth your time watching and subscribing. Do young water deers lack the tusks of the adults? I am not confident in my water deer ID, but if you have experience and think it could be then I'd be inclined to go with you! What a lovely place you live... I would love to visit the area. I hope you have a lovely week :)
