Well they didn't close and lock the gate, there was no signs stating do not enter ANYWHERE! Adam wouldn't have went in if everything was warning him not to go in, and he would have contacted someone to properly enter... So if no signs, or locked gate it's not trespassing

Fun fact, Robert Harris who played “Old Man Cadwell” in the movie and who ran the general store, my grandfather and he were friends up until my grandfathers death in 2010. Harris passed away in 2015. I’ve never been to Camp Ravens Knob, but been to Priddys General Store many times when I go hiking at hanging rock. Thanks for taking my suggestion to visit the store!

That "pooch" is Bella Priddy. She lives next to the store with Jane Priddy's sister Amy. A bit of history - Priddy's General Store started out as Hartman's General Store, built by my husband's great-grandfather. He is buried across the street in the Hartman cemetery. If you look carefully, you can see his gravestone up on the hill. The Priddy family bought the Hartman Store during the depression and they have kept it going since. I thank God for the Priddy family and their devotion to keeping history alive!

Adam, you bring back so many good memories for me and so many others I'm sure. I have loved your content for many years, MANY years, back when you went on adventures for me without even asking my mom. In Gate City VA, my grand lived in a valley, in the middle of NO WHERE, you had to go like 40 minutes around a mountain to get to the other side. Anyway, there was a general store down the road from his hosue about a mile. Little old lady own/ran/lived there. She had EVERYTHING man. From wallets to belts, to frozen pizzas to candy to little toys and everything in between. I loved that place so much. I know people say things are magical way too much these days and it's lost its meaning, but it rreally was magical. It was dark inside, the counter and display cases were right out of the late 1800s, early 1900s. Part of the back still had a dirt floor, (she stocked hardware an tools back there, oil, stuff like that) It was like stepping back in time. Not a place that's made to look like it, like a legit place that survived. The smells, the look, the vibe. One of those memories I'd give about anything to go back to. Back when a 8 year old could walk a mile down the road. Damn I'm getting old. I know no one will ever read this. But there ya go.

Adam, I spent time for many a summer at Camp Raven Knob, probably the best Boy Scout Reservation in the eastern part of the U.S. That cabin is for counselors who work at the camp during camp season. Just wanted to give a shout out to the great Camp Raven Knob. And I'm sure you realize, since you and your mom were just there, that Mt. Airy is just a few miles east. We used to take Scouts on field trips to that quarry you visited. Wish you had hiked up The Knob. That is always good exercise.

Need to carry some dog treats in your pocket, Adam. Also get yourself a pair of Yaktrax to slip over your shoes in icy conditions, like $20 bucks from REI or Amazon, so you don't bust your butt on the snow and ice and can concentrate on filming instead of walking. Finally, if you must walk on old wooden bridges and cabin floors, put your feet above the foundation members where there is hopefully some support, not between them where one rotten board can ruin your day. Love the small town videos.
