So inspired by your Smoky Mnt vids. My wife and I are are headed to Max Patch (and other trails) . We were going to do the "Max Patch loop trail "but have decided to retrace your steps from Lemon Gap (minus your little detour... good tips there). We've been building our endurance and seeking out climbs in order to be ready. Thanks for taking the time to post your hikes. We even purchased a couple of the MtKnives from one of your gear vids for the occasion. Thanks for all you do!

I just started watching your videos so maybe you say in one I haven’t watched yet, but what is the backpack you’re using in this video? It looks like it has lots of storage and straps and such! Loving your videos! We are coming to the Smoky Mountains for Spring Break and we are looking forward to getting out on some trails!

I always carry an axe and saw with me, so if I get tired, I can build myself a nice cabin to stay the night. ; )
