Is there any way I can use the settings from camera on a NVR? I have Network NVR and two cameras. The reason I want to use camera settings on NVR is because the camera has more settings than the NVR. For example NVR will send me 3 tinny images in email when detecting something while camera can do one image but very sharp and clear. The NVR images are very bad quality. I did hear someone say something like the camera once connected to the NVR has no IP on its own. Just wondering if you guys from this video know anything about it and if it's possible.

Why it's not possible to set for continuous recording and event at the same time? It would so much easier to find events on the time line but record all the time... It sucks we cannot do this...

Same here, when I set schedule to events only the NVR is recording continuously (Blue bar on the playback timeline), but it is marking events (Red). All i want to record events only.

Why do you have to copy and apply to 7 days and then apply to the camera as well, all you want the bloody recorder to do is record 24/7. Once you set it to continuous recording, it should do that without having to do anything else.

At first try to restart NVR . If this not solve your problem try to reset settings to default and try playback again .

It depends on the size of your hard drive, but if you have one big enough you simply set it to 24-7 recording and it will store as much as it can. If you need a bigger hard drive (I recommend 8TB) give me a call 214-988-4311

Most likely majority of viewing your video are novice users like me. So it would have been better if you had gone a little slower with the presentation.
