As self-deprecating as Brett and Eddy are about their talents, this video leaves no doubt that they can play violin with the best. What a treat this must have been for all who heard it live.
@damage03112 жыл бұрын
I honestly think they were able to play an encore with Hilary Hahn just cuz of their fame. Honest opinion. I'm not saying they're not good, but there are levels, right?
@ineedtopractice49812 жыл бұрын
@@damage0311 yeah, I get what you mean, like obviously Twoset are very talented in their own rights but Hilary is simply on another level. I think they performed with Hilary, one they are good friends and two Hilary performed at Tsv's show as a guest, so its kinda paying back a favour.
@Irys19972 жыл бұрын
@@damage0311 Yes, there definitely are levels, and Hilary is by most accountings I have seen in the top 3 violinists in the world, like out of all 8 billion people, she's either number 1, 2, or 3. On that scale, Brett and Eddy are more like 5000 and 5001 (if there was such a scale that went that far). And that is fine! It's all for fun and entertainment. And the bottom line is, just like runners or tennis players or swimmers, etc, being 5000 out of 8 billion people is still "aMaZiNg" in its own right, and it means they are still damn good at what they do. The tennis player ranked 5000 in the world will still beat almost anyone they encounter on the court without breaking a sweat. And I doubt most people could watch the number 200 play and number 5000 play and be able to discern any difference between them.

Brett and Eddy dont lose in any way to Hilary Hahn. You need to take in consideration the gigantic contribution they did to classical music. I have been playing piano for 2 years now and the influence and motivation they gave me is great. Btw recently was my first recital and I posted it in my channel, if anyone wants to check.
