I Will say lake Seminole is one of the most fun lakes to fish was there and it was 30 something degrees but the water was warm and caught them all flipping and buzzing a paddle tail through the grass always love going back to this place

im from California and fish tournaments and as long as you didn't see the fish and that fish is caught in the side it is a total legal fish.. but if your sight fishing and catch him in the side it is not a legal fish. Maybe some tournament series are different though, I just fish Lake Casitas and we only have two different series here. ive caught a lot of fish spooning deep that have not been in the mouth and were all legal fish said the Tourney director.. Wish we had high school tournaments out here, I would of loved fishing practice with my boy.. Good luck guys and gals..

Create your own highschool club u don’t have to be an actual highschool to fish most tournaments just a high-school age club
