I am a few years ahead of you of you in age. When I was young I would set like that and drive my father’s 8n ( now my son’s) around the yard in reverse for fun. We grow older but we should never stop having fun. Not sure if daddy knew about me doing that.

Innovation, innovation, innovation... You don't know until you try. Left is right and right is left. Up is still up. You're on to something. Once you add the TTWT remote control to that tractor for another $10K, everyone will want one. Bring your own ballast.

I enjoyed this. I considered doing something like that many times. My dad adjusted his seat mount so he could rotate it to watch things behind him. We had an Oliver with mid mounted equipment so one could watch what you were doing. Or the cub FARM-ALL with its off set engine and equipment. So now you can work your magic and make a real kit for such fun other than sitting on the hood.

Actually, this isn't a bad idea. I believe European 1025 tractors have an optional three point lift / connect for the front. Mount the mower on the front and you don't have to deal with running over the stalks (or weeds) before the mower cuts them down. Before I got my 1025R, I had a New Holland rear steer commercial tractor with a front mounted flail mower. It really did a great job mowing and plowing snow in the winter. I miss that tractor. 😢
@frankmcelroy37922 ай бұрын
Next upgrade is a rear view camera, a big LED screen and mirrors - folks use those to back up their big SUVs all the time. Gone are the days of turning your head to back up. That way you have your seat, a seat belt and you can add a few more thousand to the installation cost!
@scottlagaly13892 ай бұрын
Question: Is the mower attachment included in the kit, or is that extra? Also, I believe that this kit installed on an early 2000s New Holland wouldn’t require heel driving, since they used a treadle pedal.

I used to have a Toro Groundsmaster with a 60" front mount flail deck. It was the most versatile mower I had. Left amazing stripes on the yard, cut overgrown fields in a single pass, and devoured brush. I get this is a joke... and a hilarious $10k ...but in all seriousness, you should get with Iowa Farm Equipment. They have flail decks for Grasshopper zero turns, and Kubota F-series front mount tractors.
