That went from "uh-oh" to "holy shit bro" at about 80kmh. Thumbs up to the dashcam driver for reversing course to offer assistance, and to Toyota for designing a vehicle that can perform a half-somersault-backflop without turning the occupants into chunky sauce (description states both occupants walked away, probably not worth buying a lotto ticket for a couple of years after that).

@@marvindebot3264 It's pretty clear there was no traction control or stability control active in the car. the brake lights normally flicker on and off and the car gets jerky as it tries despirately to keep the car moving forward. (generally by clamping the brakes on and off on the back drivers wheel to cause the car to rotate back around) but toyota utes while they look cool and fancy tend to have the chassis management system of cars from 2 decades earlier. They are brain dead. If a modern system from the time that ute was made was active in this ute it probably would have at least reduced the slide significantly.

@@daviddou1408 A laughable reply with no material value but as to attack and let me know that you're pissed off. Regardless of the minor details in my reply and whatever your intentions, the truth of the matter is, the driver did not drive suitably according to the conditions. Nothing jumped out in front of them, this was not some accident outside of his control. He chose (or not chose) what to do that day. Now will the police determine that he was driving without care and attention or will they let this one slide I do not know. I can only hope that he himself has learned a lesson that day and that the video serves as a graphic warning to others to pay their full attention where it's due, to think ahead and understand physics and mechanics when they get behind the wheel of a 2.5ton brick on wheels and travel at speed.

@@hayloft3834 you should read your own comment mate. This is my first message addressed to you. The funny thing is, you are having a pop at me for the exact thing you've just done. Pathetically comical don't you think? 😅 And with regards to "speed" even 20kph is too fast if the road conditions demand a speed slower than 20kph, just try and drive in snow and you'll see that you can sometimes walk faster in the snow on the pavent, faster than the vehicles trying to drive through it. Just like this video, it doesn't matter what the speed limit is of the road, it's the drivers responsibility to pay attention, understand and stay within the capabilities of themselves and their vehicle and this is exactly what the driver did not do here. This shows yourself and others in this thread lack capacity for understanding. Abusing me for missing a single sentence description stating number of occupants which as yourself and others have done is pathetically childish and irrelevant. To do as I had done which was to point out the key takeaway that the driver was going too fast and crashed seems to have gone way over your heads. But maybe the real issue is lack of mental capacity for the most part. I hope you stay safe on the road. I bet you're one of those that will end up driving against the flow of traffic on the wrong side of the road heading towards oncoming vehicles, because you're too thick and oblivious to read the road. You're a danger to yourself and others and have apparently learned absolutely nothing from the video you obviously feel so passionately about. Australia would be a much better place without you lot on the road, angry, arrogant and thick as shit.
