DG bhai, was expecting this review from your side...now my side of the story...I bought a RE Himalayan 411 in 2019 & after the 1st servicing took it on a solo remote uninhabited mountain trail...to my horror I faced a puncture of the rear tyre...walked back almost 2 k.m. to a shepherd camp leaving the bike alone in the wilderness...the shepherds were kind enough to provide me food & shelter for the night. Next morning with their help I dragged the bike back to a point & loaded it in a Mahindra Pickup & drove to the nearest puncture repair shop. After that bitter experience, I reached home...was very disappointed by the incident & at the heat of the moment sold the bike when the odometer only clocked 1600+ k.m. As you said, I suggest every prospective new Himalayan 450 buyer to wait for the spoked wheels with tubeless tyres or go for it now if you've the skill to repair tube tyres on a cold mountain trail. I'll definitely book this bike the moment RE introduce spoked wheels with tubeless tyres with this Himalayan 450 even if I've to pay more for the same...hope they'll bring out the touring accessories soon...thank you for the review...much ❤ from Darjeeling!

Anyone who rides a spoked tube tyre should know how to change the tubes in such cases. I completely understand your situation. I faced a puncture coming down from Sach Pass and fortunately I was close to a village and I got it done there. Even though I knew how to change the tubes, it is very difficult on the classic 500 to do on my own. Himalayan shouldn't be a problem. I have booked the Him 450 but I will only purchase once the tubeless spoke wheels are available, until then not buying.

The best RE style bike right now is HD X440, and the best RE band bike now is actually this Himalayan. I love those long-stroke engines, but am really tired of their highway performance.

The new Himalayan is seriously overall fantastic at the price point, lots of useful features, I would not say that it is a strong off roader but overall it’s superb, I just wish they had tubeless tyres.

It's less . You can only feel engine thump which a charecteristic of RE but there is no vibration
