Finally someone has made a really honest ownership review. I have finished 1000 kms and I'm really satisfied with the himmy450. One point to note is if you ride it in the city in performance mode it heats up a bit but if you change to eco mode in the city, it rides just fine. The weight is only an issue when it's static. Also did a tubeless conversion for touring but will convert to tubeless spokes when it comes out. Happy riding guys :)

The high angle of the bike when on the side stand is not a bad thing. This is an adventure bike, and may be needed to park on rough and uneven terrain. With luggage on, the rider has to use the foot pegs to dismount and if the bike is too upright it might topple. If one feels the angle is too steep, one can go for an aftermarket extender. My ADV has a more upright stance and it is sometimes difficult to get the stand down on uneven surfaces.

Same situation me main bhi tha to choose between the interceptor and new himalayan. Choose the interceptor and and totally satisfied. Twin and single me koi comparison hi nahi hai, the twin is very relaxed and refined. And as you said that you'll mostly ride on normal roads, just go with the interceptor.

Is daam par isse acha bike toh nahi hai, it packs all the adv components with power... Vibration and buzz toh hoga because of single cylinder...We would have complaint about the buzz if it limits the bikes performance but it pulls cleanly to 155+... Waiting for tubeless spoke gonna book one after selling my old 411. 😊

Yes it is, I have the sump plate as well however will install it back in some time and the lights were not able to fix on the rally crash guard which comes along with the sump guard

But why did you buy one more bike if you had 2 more bikes parked in the garage. Both the bikes you have are capable, touring machines not to mention V storm was bought just a few months ago. For approximately 3 lakh rupees (worth of the bike) one can extensively tour the country. Seems like everyone is buying the Himalayan to gain views and subscribers, whether it’s by faming or defaming the bikes. This is the hard reality. Nothing against anyone 😅 To all the interested buyers: do your own research, by experiencing motorcycles, by renting & test rides. Save money and spend it wisely.
