I noticed you for the third year in a row in Bir. I was curious from what country you are, but too shy to ask. :) But somehow KZbin showed your profile and now I see, that my feeling about Poland roots was very correct. You are almost neighbor. I am from Latvia. :) I like your passion for paragliding in your videos and actually I saw this passion also on Bir take-off when you were making a very serious ritual of preparation with tooth brushing, cleaning snowboard glasses carefully etc. and did this every time I saw you! :) I also love to fly in Himachal Pradesh. I managed to fly there 213 km XC in October 2017 what was the longest flight for some months till March 2018 when HC thermals was turned on! :D Probably I also need to try Vol-biving there for more colourful experience. P.S. I am making educational video-serial about paragliding in Bir, but in Latvian language, because my English speaking skills isn't on the highest levels. :D Safe flights, Kinga! And as we say in Latvian - Hold The Sail!

Hi Kinga, Can you comment on the Gloves you use. I am struggling to find the good solution. I have tried wind riders, mittens, electric (altough probably too cheap). How did you get on in Himalyas with your gloves?

You can see on the movie what I use - 5 fingers gloves (for ice climbing) and TryFly sleeves - they help a lot, but you need to be careful on take off and risers steering is practically impossible. Sometimes when I go really high, I put chemical disposable warming pads on my wrists - these which heat up when in contact with the air. I don't use electric gloves for various reasons, but if you want, go for heated liners instead of outer gloves. Shake your hands down whenever you can to push some warm blood into them. And let's be brutally honest, if you want to fly in the mountains, just get used to being cold :-)
