Massive battery! Crazy to think that my electric skateboard has the same size battery.

500kms (300miles) so far and zero issues. Have it kitted out with a Rockbros rear bag (tubes, patches, pump, tools, water) and a front handlebar extender which carries two tribit BT speakers and a dog/coyote spray cannister. Yes its a beast, but since I was going to buy a 50cc scooter, Im glad this rides more like a motorcycle than a skinny wheeled bike. This is my 3rd ebike, and my new favourite.

@@ElectricBikeReport I chose the Aventon Soltera.2, I'm in Canada and it was free shipping with Canadian dollars Race1up is very nice, but is in US (3000 CAD) + very expensive shipping (200usd) + tolls fees So the Racer1 would've been almost 4000 CAD vs the 2000 CAD of Soltera.2

You think that boy is big, you should test its full suspension brother the D7 upgraded. Air shocks front and rear 1000 watt Hub motor, 90lbs...I have had mine about 3 months and would love for you guys to review it

Last week I took it on the mountain biking trails in Eagle Mountain Utah, roadrunner and Deadwood and it did amazingly well. I scared myself to death going on those trails being 50 years old and 295 lbs and never doing a single track trail ever, but the bike handled it very good.

We reviewed the Cobra Pro last year, but they made some changes when they renamed it the D7. We hope to be able to test the new version too!

I just got a D5 4 days ago, and one thing I've noticed is that the top of the derailleur is in constant contact with the underside of the chain-stay, no matter what gear I'm in. Does anyone know if this is normal? I can't see any way to adjust its position...the derailleur seems keyed in position by its mounting plate.

I just took delivery of a step-through D5, and the screen is definitely not color.

The seems like a Lectric XPeak with about 25% more battery and 12 extra pounds. It's almost exactly the same specs in every other way. I'm still trying to figure out why is weights 12 more pounds for 6WH of battery. Yes, I know the XPeak only comes with a cadence sensor but it's also $1,399 currently while this is $1,699 for the torque sensor or $1,499 for the cadence sensor.

I'm not experienced with ebikes, so I am in the research phase. My question would be, would the max range on an ebike be close/similar with the exact same bike and ride conditions, but using a cadence system rather than a torque system?

Bikes with torque sensors are generally more efficient, so they tend to go longer on a charge than a bike with a cadence sensor would.

Seems like a RadRunner clone, but that should mean good things. We haven't seen a Fiido in ages, we'll have to see about getting one in.

Is the torque scencer throttle is working? I mean using with non peddling. Because i want to buy this just for trothle function i have my leg problem so i can't use paddling for long please give me answer

Throttle works independently of the torque sensor. So you don't have to pedal if you don't want to.
