It's because those religions are ancient pagan religions, i don't know which country you come from, but there are many pagan religions like the hindu religion that have sadly died out, try to revive them by learning about them, here in europe it's mostly nordic religion, but the greeks and their pagan religion is very different from the norse gods.

@@thorsten8790 I'm sorry. Did you say that the Hindu religion died out? You're welcome to visit India any time you'd like. Furthermore, it's appreciable that you encourage religions that don't thrive anymore like they once did to begin again. As a Hindu, I've started truly appreciating that.

I do not want to relive Another Life as a human that's for sure.

Bruce Cook Reincarnation is a concept of asthiks of Hinduism. Nasthiks of hinduism are agnostic or even atheistic to an extent. In fact, hinduism has schools in monotheism, pantheism, polytheism, agnosticism,monism, humanism etc. For instance, Rishi Patanjali, was an agnostic but gave respect to theism as well, since he knew the importance of both.

Star wars got it from atheism. Atheist belief the is no such thing as god. But the is a powerful force that creates and control the universe. In short, they belief you get something out of nothing. Sure, what you have to understand first is that Hinduism is more of a lifestyle than worship. This means puja, meditation, etc depending on your sect. There are over 500 (50 of which I am familiar with) sects in Hinduism. It is a very diverse religion (which is why it survived for so long) and its possible to practice Hinduism and Islam at the same time (for a transition if you want). But that my friend is for you to figure out. You should also read the Baghavad Gita and the Vedas. I have read the Koran and can say that Hinduism and Islam share some basic principles. So the concepts won't be too difficult for you to understand. Hope this helps.
@srikarvoleti89506 жыл бұрын
I also forgot to add my argument about the caste system. The Caste system is overly exaggerated and existed in the old days, not unlike the patrician and plebian society in Ancient Rome. Untouchables were criminals (and many lies have been spread about them by the British) and did low jobs. However, like other religions, Hinduism was reformed under people like Swami Vivekananda and Sai Baba. That is why you don't see as much caste discrimination in Indian Cities as you do in the villages (which are still rural). In the essence, your religion is defined by you not by some person who lived over a millennium ago (this is one reason why Hinduism has so many sects). I wish you luck to find your path.

Everything is recycled, we're created from stardust. The beverages you drink might have same recycled atoms from Jurassic times. But then something is preserved such as the atoms. But even death cannot kill the atoms a living body is made of. But then atoms have a lifespan too and are destructible just like everything else. But then something is preserved and that's infinite cycle. And what is preserved is universe itself or the Brahman which is far far beyond the concept of GOD and your understanding of it.

Sorry but there's nothing to follow in Hinduism, unlike other "religions" Hindus are not believers, we're seekers.. therefore we don't have a specific Holy Book that tells us to believe and follow a certain person/ god or whatever. It's the only religion/ path/ way that allows you to be an atheist if that is what helps you seek the ultimate truth.
@enterusername11404 жыл бұрын
@Sensible_Soul in Hinduism you are not considered as man or woman. There is also mention and recognition of 3rd gender(the modern lgbtq community). People of all 3 genders are equal. Diverse in nature but equal in rights. Thus even 5000 years ago, Hinduism was more modern than any ultra modern country now. It covers feminism, lgbtq, and atheism also. There's no rule book for Hinduism, like pray to this god 4 times a day or do this or do that. Hinduism makes one person look within and do good and be good.

Believe me or not.. Hinduism is the ultimate creation of God...Its very ancient and every line in the scriptures has a very deep profound meaning which you can understand if you embrace it with a rational mind..remember Vedas taught the way of life which is Dharma..but Vedas also taught us Astrology ( known as vedic astrology) which tells you about your past life and your life path in this life..Its tells you what is Karma and how its related to reincarnations.Yogis like Swami Vivekanada has shown us the path to Liberation, Hinduism will also teach you Kundalini awakening, etc..So friends, Hinduism is the only way to get Moksha...
@robbiesharp98646 жыл бұрын
I'm a Hindu. I believe in reincarnation. Life is very unfair, everyone lives different lives. I mean, Some people are homeless their entire life and live a horrendous life, while others such as the kardashians are blessed and have everything they want and will ever need. This is why I believe in it. You experience ALL ways of life, and then you go to a permanent place for Eternity. Have a blessed day y'all!

You need not go to eternity..it's all based on the karma you do when on earth as human..you won't be just born as human again and again..you will be born as a fish..a bacteria..a tiger ..a lion ..an ant..but after so many permutations ..when you are born again as a human..you can become conscious and try to brake this cycle of birth and death.. That is the main goal of a person practicing sanatana Dharma...see i eat carrot ..that carrot gets digested and all neutrients and vital stuff it had it becomes part of me basically it becomes a man in me..if a cow eats the same carrot it becomes a cow in cow not a human..a deer eats the same carrot and the same carrot becomes deer in deer..tyere is nothing in carrot..there is this intelligence in the body..so this body which might be 6ft is just accumalation of food over the years...but you are more than just accumalation of food isn't it ? There is an energy in you.. that's called as soul /atma/life etc and this life in you keeps manifesting on earth in different forms..it can't die..until you ultimately find the way through N no. Of reincarnation..

You must know that Hindu Gods & goddeses are only the personification of the forces of nature, both at micro & macro level. Goddess Saraswati is the counterpart of God Brahma (from whom the word Abraham / Ibrahim was derived). Goddesses in Sanskrit / Hindi are literally known as Shakti or energy. Male Gods are powerless without their female counterpart. This represents the forces of creation.

Science is the study of product of Dharma. And because science is itself a product of the universe(dharma), Science isnt powerful enough to understand Dharma. Only the vedas tell you the methods of God realization, science can only try to study ideas that have already been a part of life observable. But it is God Himself who decides who deserves to understand Him. So, following the path of Dharma is the only way one can understand God. Science doesnt usually walk that path
@opanpro97727 жыл бұрын
Shun Jags Neil de grasse Tyson has explained physics that we know till now. How do you know reincarnation is same as law of conservation of energy? After someone dies it's the body which decomposes and gets used up again in some other natural process. It's wishful thinking.

Vinay Pawar no Jainism is not the oldest. Jainism, Buddhism, Sikhism all are sects of Hinduism. The preachers of these sects were hindus they practised Hinduism, they just explain the way they practised Hinduism in their own different ways and attained the ultimate goal of human life i.e. moksh or eternal truth. Its sad that these different sects of Hinduism are now called as different religions which is absurd.

Dear Sir, your view on hinduism is coming from 100% advaita-vada. You mentioned words like bhakti-yoga, dvaita-vada, sanatan-dharma, but it seems you have no access to these teaching. Hinduisme explained from the dvaita-vada point of view has an different flavour: love (prema not kama) is greater then liberation (moksa).

Yes that is what explains multiple gods as well. God can be anyone or anything, based on someone's views on that certain something.. for instance, rain would be godly to someone dying of unbearable heat somewhere in the middle of never ending desert. It's the flexibility of Hinduism which makes it survive and have widespread reach for so long.
@kritikaushik54995 жыл бұрын
@@pseudoliberal99 Not multiple gods, but multiple forms of God. God is one. Ways to reach God are many through his/her many forms. Therefore, implying, Hinduism isn't Polytheistic (as said by most westerners). Hinduism is Pluralistic. PS. I respect you view and agree to much of it. These little nuances I learnt recently and helped me in forming better opinions. Hope this knowledge sharing helps! Hare Krishna! 🙏
@pseudoliberal995 жыл бұрын
@@kritikaushik5499 you misunderstood me, the eternal truth i.e Brahman is beyond what you would call a god. We call almost every natural species as godly to imply the fact that they are life forces for humans directly or indirectly. Hinduism is never imposed on anyone. Also there was no effort of spreading it to other places and people. It is for the seekers.
@vinayaksharma83874 жыл бұрын
Actually there were efforts for spreading Hiinduism.We have forgotten it, but Hinduism does allow conversion. That is exactly what Adi Shakaracharya did and how Hinduism revived in India and Nepal. Conversion is also how Hinduism spread in the South East Asian countries and Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines etc

@@marlyndacosta1044 Lol what do you mean by that. Don't you know its common sense that wherever the Kings went invading new territories such as in Cambodia or Vietnam or Burma, thry imposed Hinduism as the state religion. How else do you think Hinduism spread there? Through magic or spells?

Hinduism is all for me. full freedom. and only wants me to be a kind and gentle human being. I wonder how amazing this ideology is that they considered and preserved for thousands of years. fun facts: in Hinduism there are almost infinite number, I should say form, of gods. their perception of covers everything around u living or dead. wow. Now I understand how could they define zero, vacuum in space and infinity. believe it or not those guys must be very intelligent thousand of years to actually define and visualize the universe. I feel like I should start learning Sanskrit. my friend in India told me that all these vedic books were written in Sanskrit. they also did first eye surgery on human and documented procedure. wow.. I am just immersed into it... I can't hold my self..

abc xyz u would be astonished to hear that Sushruta was the first surgeon in d world(600-700BC) and he described more than 300 surgical procedures such as cataract, rhinoplasty, sinusitis etc in his book called Sushruta Samhita. For a good 1000 years after that no one apart from Indians could perform these complex surgeries. It was only in 7th century AD that d Arabs came and took these books and translated them from Sanskrit to Arabic and then few hundred years later from Arabic to English and that's how modern science and surgery was born. If u don't believe me then search on Wiki. In the ancient world India was d only shining light because d rest of d world was in darkness !

I've gotten very much back into Satanana Hindu dharma and watch Nithyananda a lot. I work with Shiva & goddess Lakshmi now & love swamiji aka parmahansa Nithyananda. He says it's from aliens over 60k years ago that's why it's so precise in the science & Vedic Astrology which I'm very into. Great video!

@Gaun Yin and Hinduism is not all about idol worship... There are 4 ways to achieve the ultimate goal in Hinduism .....means there are 4 types of yoga 1.making statue of deity and worshiping it ...we all know that there is no god in stone or Idol itself ..again I would like to tell you we don't worship Idol we worship deity .. 2. Hath Yoga- it is the yoga which is practiced in International yoga day but it is very very very very difficult 3.Gyan yoga - gyan means knowledge ...it all means that we can Acheive the main goal of Hinduism with ..attaining knowledge ..as much as knowledge that we can... 4.dhyan/concentration /meditaion (this is the same thing you Buddhists follow) and it is also a part of Hinduism...but if you want your separate identity ..we have no problem..with you above all 3 points are useless if you don't do good karm(deeds) with following your dharm(duty)... Moskha is the ultimate goal in Hinduism ...it means to overcome the cycle of rebirth and become a part of Bhagwan/Ishwar/Paramaatma/God.. Summary- And at the end I want to say that concentration is not the only method to attain salvation ..there are 3 more methods which one can choose as per once relevence Also ,with these ,good deeds with following ones duty are also important I am personally following the way of meditaion to attain salvation...I am trying my best to stay away from materialistic world and since stating of lockdown I have started dhyan/concentration. And I clearly say That I am not a Buddhist.. I am Hindu/Sanatan Dharmi
