one thing the Indian government and international community is denying to understand that the attacks those happened just after the fall of Hasina, or still happening in some extent are not solely directed toward Hindus or minorities, those attacks were directed toward the members of Awami League or it's related wings. There are many Hindus who are active in Awami League politics, so attacks on them cannot be only explained as the attacks on their Hindu identity only, attacks on their political identity. Yes, there must be some incidents happened because of their religious identity, which is not related to Awami League politics. Now, the question is why attacks taking place based on religion? It's because of the state's system. It shows the failure of our education system and social morality. Why the country could not root the sense of diversity in their citizen's mind, it's time to look at that. Our education system did not teach generations to respect diversity and inclusion. Last 53 years, the politics has always been centered on envy, greed, and personal benefit, not the harmony of people of all faith, all opinion, no inclusion. This Hasina government, invested tons of money on religious institutions and madrasa education. There was extremely limited encouragement or initiative to promote the Bengali culture or Adabasi cultures, or any other cultural activities that we are proud of. The open minded people could not express their opinion. As a result, people forgot that there are many more things in life rather than earning money or practicing religion. Which obviously triggered the attacks on people of different thoughts (religion, politics, ethnicity, culture), and institutes as a by product of the fall of Awami League. Only a liberal and thought provoking education and cultural system and social reformation may show some hopes for the derailed people in future.

I am struck by how much Bengali has deteriorated in India. Asad Noor has been able to speak more or less continuously, for long periods of time without using a single non Bengali word (other than possibly Police, pronounced Pooleesh and transition, which he need not have used), while Deep Haldar (from India) cannot utter even one sentence without using one or two English words. Till the 1980s, most Indian Bengalis could (and did) speak pure Bengali like Asad Noor is speaking but today, virtually no one does. Not even Mamata Banerjee (who can barely speak English)! It was a pleasure to listen to Asad Noor!

We are not accountable to India for attacks on minorities but to our constitution. It is our moral responsibility to protect the minorities. Most attacks on Hindus were due to their association with the former political party in power because in that time they oppressed opposition parties. After an uprising these types of attacks are not uncommon but not expected.

This is something which we must get into our heads : whoever is in power in Bangladesh , Hindus and other minorities are not safe and never will be. I have been there a few times(as well as To Pakistan) . The religion of islam hangs very heavy in the air in these countries . One has to breathe it all the time . 95 % or probably more of the moslems adhere strictly to the edicts of that religion . They are totally subservient to the bearded mollahs . Between the previous regime and what is going to be it is only a difference between bad and worse . Hindus making a beeline for the border has already started .

Dear Indian Brothers/ Sisters, I am from Bangladesh. Lets me explain the actual scenario. After getting power in 2009, Sheikh Hasina's govt has done very little development works at mainly Dhaka city but these were actually organic and natural development of a country, but 1. She destroyed the democratic system and the election commission of this country. As a result there were no free and fair elections. She killed our democratic rights and democratic aspirations. Her government was in power for 4 consecutive terms, without being elected from free and fair elections. This young generation, the protesters were not able to vote. 2. Her government systematically killed several thousands opposition party members. So many people are missing, faced extra judicial killing, crossfires etc. 3. There was no actual freedom of speech. They were just tagging anti-nationals if you do a simple criticism of any policy, activity etc. of that govt. General people were very angry about this type of tagging. 4. Her government systematically looted our stock market, banking system and almost destroyed these. 5. Her govt. destroyed all constitutional institutions by doing nasty politics, hiring her own people only. 6. Unlimited and open corruption was from bottom to top. During her tenure, billions of dollars were snuggled by her people, her family members etc. She and her son are convicted in the USA. 7. She created a notorious student wing like goons. General students are very dissatisfied with their torturing, extortion etc. 8. Violated human rights at each level. 9. Done so many unnecessary experiments on our education system and almost destroyed it by lowering its standard. 10. Her party always does politics with minorities. But during her tenure, so many attacks on minorities were done by her party supporters goons. And so many nasty works were done by her and her party. He was just a ruthless dictator. Recently students protested, initially, she killed hundreds of students which that ignited the whole country, general peoples were highly engaged and ousted her from power. It was just like a liberation war. And victory was historic against that dictator. We are rebuilding our nation where law and orders will be properly functioning, real development will be there, democracy and human rights will be there, all people including our all minorities will be living with dignity etc. We are very hopeful. Pls help us.

Yes i agree. Bangladesh took 1.7 million myanmar Rohingya refugees during the Crisis in Myanmar. Bangladesh is a small country but yet we opened our doors for our neighbours. India should do the same to save the hindus❤.
