I’m find it amazing to watch you stand so easily from the floor; something I’ve been working on for years! 😮 thank you for your videos. Big fan I’ve been living with ms for 18 years since I was 18

I find I always struggle with when to breathe during exercising. This really helps to remind when the best time to take breaths. Thank you for all your help!

Trevor, I really like the options you give us to choose from..... making it a little easier to move our bodies!💖

If I had to choose one muscle, just one that could help the most if balanced and healthy and one muscle that can cause so much chaos if it is not healthy it is the hip flexors... and doing bird dogs and more aggressive movements can really tweak me out BUT this crawling when done with focus and intent just like you suggest in this video is golden. The cross crawl patterning fires up the brain and all the foundational support form the legs and arms reduces "tweaks". Even though the is called exercise with MS it could just be called exercise if you have a brain, these routines and tips are so good for any chronic pain sufferer because like MS , these are all brain based conditions. Everytime I watch one of your videos I am reminded to go back and work on foundational movements myself.

Wow, funny seeing this video today(well, maybe not funny 🤷♀️ you know what I mean?). I fell last week and crawled to the counter to get up and thought this is a great way to practice moving my (right) leg forward! Who knew!😊 Thanks Trevor

Last year I thought about crawling being a good idea, but then I didn’t do it. These instructions are great.

My problem is getting on all fours - getting down. This looks beneficial if I can get there.

Try in your mattress or elevated therapy table first 👍

Thanks so much Trevor. I suffer with spasticity in my right leg, would these exercises help me??? In desperate need of help 🙏🏻
@n00dlspaz6 ай бұрын
I also struggle with severe spasticity in my right leg. It feels like i'm walking on a peg leg. I'd like to know if this will help with that because spasticity is less of a strength issue and more of a muscle tightness? I think?

@dianemichael6979 Hi! Is your leg spasticity where your leg won’t bend or where your leg won’t unbend (go straight)?
@kayS206 ай бұрын
I used to suffer with my knee not bending until I found the MS Gym. There are certain exercises to use to help combat these symptoms. Just go into the playlist and look for reducing spasticity playlist. This was the first exercise I used and it really made a huge difference in my walking ability. I still do these exercises to this day when I feel my leg wanting to spas out. 😊

Can we do it without pausing in between each movement?
@TheMSGym6 ай бұрын
You can hit your results won’t be as good. The pause slows your brain to feel safe and set up before each movement. Pausing will increase the quality of each rep for better results.

How do I do this exercise if I can't get off the floor?
@lisagiarratana76606 ай бұрын
At 4:10 he says you could do on your mattress. For safety, I would say only if you have a firm mattress and your balance is decent(the first one he showed doing in place)or if someone there with you to assist.

I agree with the reply below 👇. If you are highly chair dependent, this will be too advanced for you without a trained fitness or therapy professional to guide you.
