I feel pain doing every one of your stretches. And it makes me sad bc I'm 23 years old and I went from very flexible child to this just bc of manual work. But I'm also glad I found this channel bc it explains things very well . I really appreciate the content and help u give to others. ❤️

@@casuallymika I'm sure it will, thank you. Also it's not like painfully painful,its just a reaction on how lazy I was about movement for past few years I guess. I'm not gonna hurt myself, bc I'm trying to make myself better bkt worse

Might want to learn to walk first no offence most ppl don't understand walking potential when fully comprehended in one's personal life , in 3 years I had to relearn to walk twice from being a pro skater by 16 lol 😆 I'm laughing at my self here I'm 35 n had to fight for life or death against men and self recovery is mental physical n spirit driven ..this guy is a bodhisattva of stretching teaching

@@skye387 What in the fuck. How are you 3 even able to fucking walk and live if you're knees are that soft. I've done these sorts of stretches many times knee push ups i only did when i was obese. Nothing ever happened to my knees. Nowadays i also do a lot of muay thai conditioning and shaolin iron knee training and iron fist training.(Fuck no im not doing "iron face" training)

the key is consistency. i used to just be able to touch my thighs, but after just a week of stretching daily (and only for like 5 mins a day), i can already touch my toes. i still feel some pain, but i’m sure it will go away if i continue stretching.
@happuhelon
@happuhelon Жыл бұрын
He actually made a short about this though! It’s a hamstring stretch, one leg at a time, and you start with tiptoeing and therefore bending that leg. Then slowly bend down with your back straight/elongated and butt out until you feel a stretch on your hamstrings. 15 reps each leg, but do an extra 5 if either leg is more tight. I’ll try to link the short if i can find it but hopefully the yt algo sends it your way too!
@madeofcastiron

@@happuhelon i think it’s the one where he calls it a “hack/cheat/trick” to be able to instantly touch your toes. i’ve been doing that stretch as well, and it’s really helped a lot in improving my flexibility.

I don’t know if you already made a video about it, but could u make a video showing how to stretch the things needed to kick more wide and higher? I’ve been doing tae kwon do for a little bit and have some trouble doing high roundhouse kicks, as well as side kicks. I don’t know what I can do to stretch the things I need to kick higher, so it’d be really cool if you could show it.

Thanks I'm not even 40 and have a screwed up spine that requires me to do tons of physical therapy. I gotta wake up 2 hours early before work just for stretching and to get moving, I've been getting bad sciatica and hip pains - kind of scares me having my hips popping out of place at such a young age, about to go find your hip mobility e-book : ) I'm glad I found your channel - I literally spend 10-20% of my days stretching/physical therapy, have been humiliated and harassed at work beyond belief - like I'm not allowed to stretch 1-2x every 8-12hrs!!!!? I ended up blowing up on them and almost sued them (probably should have) but they leave me alone now and I've gained so much strength over the nearly 2 years I've been working this horrible job. I have an extra vertebrae and Spina bifida epifida and a fused vertebrae and I'm pretty sure some kind of degenerative/rheumatism disease and/or neuralgia (there's no obvious visible deformities). Despite my problems, I think chemical toxins and synthetic stuff (and gmo tech) in our food - just toxins everywhere getting inside us from every direction cause pain and inflammation (not to mention mental/physical and hormonal chemical imbalance). I replaced 20% of my diet with herbal medicine and have *almost never felt better (lol maybe as a preteen). Just started on guggulu, it's supposed to help scrape toxins from the joints and increase joint mobility and facilitate movement.
