About the backup voice, it's his. Taemin uses backup audio sometimes, because his concert is 80% dancing and he's only human. This concert was the third concert in 3 days and also I think 5th or 6th concert in first 12 days of August. I was in the audience for the 2nd one of those three and I could see how tired he was and he did use backup audio more than earlier during tour (17 concerts in total as far as I remember), but you can be sure of one thing: he doesn't pretend to sing, as you probably noticed he will completely abandon his mike if he doesn't sing, but when he puts it back to his mouth he sings 100%.

If you want to see how much of Taemin is in preparations of the concert, you should watch documents from backstages to all his concerts (or at least Japanese ones, though Off Sick has Xtra Cam, that's good as well). You'd be surprised how much thoughts he put into his performances, not only dancing, but outfits, lighting, sound, everything! It's amazing to see, seriously.

Ahhh, thanks so much. This concert is honestly a masterpiece. I so love the set of his Japanese ballads - I'm Crying, Itsuka Kokode and Sekai De Ichiban Aishita Hito. I mean we all know Taemin can dance, but to me his voice is everything - I really like how you described it, it's gentle, sensual and so soft and he delivers emotion in a way that it melts my heart. The stage production is insane and it makes his performance look absolutely magical. I believe at this point Taemin has a lot of input in everything that's going on on his concerts - he was the one who invented a slanted stage at his TMI concert... He is without a doubt my favorite artist out there. I really hope you will react to his other solo songs - Famous (the first song of the encore, with the insane choreo) is so iconic. Also What's This Feeling is a perfect energetic song to put it by the end of the concert. Not to even mention the Danger Sherlock arrangement, which was also Taemin's idea. Thanks a lot Monq!

The frase "hardworking man" is beyond comprehension when an idol sing and dance, but the extra miles Taemin does, gives, makes and goes, it's perfection at its best, the edgy shows does takes a lot of work, concentration, professionalism and nobody mention it because we're busy watching him perform, thank goodness we have you to put words while I'm speachless.

I think he is giving suggestions everytime.. i really wish i could watch their concert someday. i love your whole speech about taemin/sm, couldn't have said it better...especially now that he had a cb and he's being overworked between that and superm schedules. sm doesn't even bother to promote his cb, its so sad and makes me so angry to see him go live and have to promote it himself since his company doesn't do it...the only good thing is that he seems to be really happy and open these days despite it all

Btw, the song after "move" you said haven't heard yet is "What's this feeling", it was used as part of the OST for the japanese drama "Final Life" where Taemin debuted as an actor. It's a great series, in my opinion, in case you are interested to check it out, I really liked it and I think Taemin did a great job in that role.

I have been a fan of SHINee for a long time. In fact, I watch more fans' fancams than videos from this kind of video or broadcasting station. The group's debut early, simple and vivid live performance is now rarely seen. Now, there are a lot of technical corrections, and the output from the broadcasting station does not satisfy me. Fancams share their beautiful vocals. I receive it in mp3 and listen. Sometimes the official sound source is awkward. Taemin clearly distinguishes between the part to be sing and the part not to be sing when performing. This is the method he chose to show a high-quality stage when performing solo activities. If you watch a lot of his live shows, you can clearly see where that is. The moment I recognize the existence of the backup audio, I honestly lose my impression. I hated this at first, he doesn't need that many musical effects. But now I understand. He's still a great and amazing performer, it`s his effort to show a good stage.
