Fun Fact: When Weekly Idol just came out, SHINee was the first big guest on the show, which made the show more known. SHINee was SM's pilot group to test new variety shows. Once SHINee thumbed up a program, SM would then send other artists under its label to this program.

Hyungdon mc is a member of Korea's most popular comedy program. However, he had to quit all programs and rest because of anxiety disorder and depression. After treatment, he did not return to the program that gave him fame and pain. He returned to the weekly idol, a program that he could be comfortable with. The friendly Jonghyun encourages and comforts Hyungdon and the members treat him as usual. Hyungdon is very close to them since he has been involved with many programs since SHINee's debut. Because they know each other well, they were able to create a fun and comfortable program. All of SHINee's weekly idol appearances are fun.It's a heavy story in a funny video, but I leave a comment because everything is not translated or explained. Hyungdon and SHINee's heartfelt joy makes me feel warm.

SHINee is a five member group but their noise is equivalent to a ten member group. For me, they're one of the funniest next to SuJu. They maybe noisy and funny but they're one of the kindest idols. Some idols are voted as kind individual but SHINee was voted as a group because every member is kind enough. Its no wonder a lot of idols looked up to them highly not only musically but also as a person. You should also watch their individual savage moments so you'll see how savage they are 😂

It's really interesting to see how quiet Taemin used to be during SHInee's group appearances, he has his witty comments here and there but you can really see the difference. After 2017 he started to come out of himself more, he even mentioned in one of their first radio shows in 2018 that he wants to be less reserved now. I don't want to make it out to be something which it's not but I really believe he's doing it to fill in jjong's spot since he always used to be the one who talks the most or replies to the MCs (which is also why many new shinee fans always think that he's the leader)

Love Shinee so much. They are amaizing. You should see their other weekly idols. They came first in 2012. Then in 2013 without Minho (drama filming) . Then the one you just watch and finally in 2018 without jjong. All of them are so funny. You get to know them a little more. Shinee forever💕

The pinky promise between Jjong and Doni was so bittersweet. In their next appearance during their 10th anniversary comeback in 2018 the boys kept their promise to the fans, did the 2x version of Everybody, nailed it and won the beef set each. I just wish that Jjong was with them

Shinee is the first kpop group i got to know and got into in 2017. They will always have my heart. It's so nice to see a youtube channel not chase the bandwagons and only react to new and really popular groups but rather, check out some of the older groups that are really gold. Shinee has many great songs and you may have come across them in your concert reactions. Among my Shinee favourites are Picasso, Stranger, Hitchhiking and Evil. Their concert versions are so much more engaging. Do check them out if you cannot recall having watched/heard them. Thank you for appreciating Shinee.

The "Taemin and his Thanks Taemin" is supposed to be "Taemin and his 4 Taemin Deokhus". "Deokhu" is the Korean version of the Japanese word "otaku", an obsessively fanatical fan. All of SHINee's Weekly Idol episodes are INSANELY hilarious though. They joke that SHINee were the ones from SM who were always sent to pilot shows before the other SM idols went. XD Because they were so hilarious they could make any show exciting. When they mention PD Jjong - it's because he critiqued Weekly Idol back in the day while on the show when it was new and it ended up being edited similarly to what he said. XD They just have SO MUCH variety show experience. I wish they did more but I think they make too much money doing other things now. So unless they WANT to do a certain variety show, they don't appear on them much anymore. Except for Key. He was a permanent cast member for Amazing Saturday (a lyric guessing program) before he enlisted. I'm sure he'll be back on that show when he returns :)

i love this weekly idol episode so much lmao i forgot how funny it was, it's been a while since i watched it. all of them crack me up in this one but especially jonghyun with his facial expressions and minho with his Flaming Charisma. shinee videos make me so happy ... i'm usually not that interested in reaction videos but i like your commentary and it's really fun to see someone gradually discover and grow to love this amazing group. great reaction as always!

I was editing this as I was watching 😅 Ahhh tbh they looked like they were making mistakes on purpose during random dance 😆. As people who perform their songs pretty much every year on concerts, I found it so hard that they could forget it lol. Fun fact: Key can remember any choreo after seeing it once or twice~ -If im not wrong. Key has a horrible streak in Rock, paper scissors. He was destined to lose lol. Which is why he also prayed later. He can't stand other people's aegyo. But he'll do it to annoy Minho 🤣 -Jonghyun couldn't lose this challenge! He's the self-proclaimed president of Taemin's fanclub. Hard-core 😂 Ps: during the turns when taemin did that amazing 5 turn in 2x speed yeah, did you see keys expression? Minho also turned twice to compensate for Onew's missing spot and not confuse anything. Onew was supposed to be in front of Minho.

Yeah, I think it's a common thing for idols to do on Weekly Idol. It wouldn't be much fun otherwise. Sunggyu from Infinite also fails on purpose as a joke every time they appear. It gives everyone a good laugh but if you see Shinee or Sunggyu in concert they are always right where they are supposed to be.

I would definitely recommend watching vixx, nct, seventeen, and pretty much every group’s weekly idol episode(s) that you’ve been reacting to recently. Something to pay close attention to during the 2x Sherlock performance is that Minho during the 2nd verse spins twice to fill in the void left by Onew, so Key wouldn't be confused when he should spin. You can see Key being surprised about it! You can double check it at 57:30 in the video, I think it's really cool how much dedication Minho puts into things like this. He also does similar things during their 2x Everybody performance when Jonghyun isn't around, to fill the void kinda thing. I love them.

Jinki's the best thing in DoTS if you ask me and has a lot of potential. But Minho absolutely shines in film. Derailed, although it loses focus in the middle, was a revelation from his dramas. He's a seriouy fantastic actor who just hasn't found the right vehicle to launch him into superstardom. Key is also a good actor who could go far. Although Taemin has a lot of acting experience, you should skip Final Life... most everyone's shows and films are available on Viki, Netflic USA, and Prime.
