i get his points about not wanting to be the old man in hiphop. but as the culture gets older, so are the listeners and i think at this point, it would be great to have another outkast album or an andre album.

Yep and I think that is why he is not collaborating with him. It could never be a Big Boi Ft. Andre because we would just call it an Outkast record. It would immediately be compared to their entire body of work. I think he is ok with 1 or 2 because it can still be organic but an album is asking for a lot from him.

Honestly, Outkast left the game at a high note with their diamond selling album double album and a great movie to follow up. Most artists would do well to know when they hit their peak and bow out gracefully. We say we wish we had more outkast albums, but do we really? We love Andre BECAUSE he's mysterious. An enigma. Releasing great music, cherry picking his roles, and bowing out. He doesn't force the creative process. If he has nothing to say, he doesn't say it. All creatives hit their peak at some point and burn out.

There’s no such thing as a creative hitting their peak.. it’s called losing motivation for the things he cared about when he was younger because as u go through life things change and what you want to do with your life changes. Rapping isn’t the only way of being creative, you notice he always has his flute right? And likes to paint? The spirituality the Teaching etc etc ? He is using all these things still to show his creativity.

Andres verse in the Art of storytelling is in my opinion the best first I’ve ever heard! Some rappers will tell a great story and three verses of an entire song he does it in one singular verse. I’ve never heard anything like that ever. Icing on the cake is that the store he tells is so sad and heartbreaking it makes me tear up, even after listening to it for 20 years it still makes me tear up.

3 Stacks should be on everybody’s Mount Rushmore of Rap. By far- the most creative of all Emcees. His artistry is “unparalleled”. Even moreso- his creativity will not be rushed. His demeanor morphs into everything he does; which makes him a better than average thespian as well. I can easily see him in future Oscar conversations given the opportunity “he chooses”. I have meeting him in person on my bucket list.

And I think he's worried about it not topping wat he's already done. But if it's anything like the love below he should drop it. U can't even put that type of music into a Genre. Whether it's his features, collabs, solo projects or whatever 3000 is as relevant now as he was back then. Hip hop is a progression but we would be remissed if we didn't have the likes of him on current albums. This is what hip hop is all about. Blending the past with the present. An Outkast album would be fire today. I would love a Mos Def (Yasin Bey), Kendrick, Talib, J Cole, KRS 1, Common, Big Boi, Bun B, T.I. and Snoop album. That would be an instant classic.

I didn't know he was so great until i saw the appreciation for him from different artist. I haven't really listen to him like that but this video really put things in perspective.

The Dungeon was absolutely dope back in the day. OutKast, Goodie Mob, T.I., Witchdoctor, Cool Breeze, and a couple others. Best of the ATL right there.😁

I really appreciate anytime someone brings 3Stacks back into the spotlight to remind everybody how much of a gem he has always and will always be. Even if he never drops another song although I pray he keeps his verses coming periodically at least. Thank you so much for this.
