For what? It will cure most things and help you loose weight. But he doesn't like fats and I think they are extremely important. I'll tell you straight up that after just giving up hybridized flour, sugar and dairy I went from 250+ to 150 and I'm 44 years old. I eat as much of the other stuff I want. The more raw the more energized I feel but I love beans and rice too. I just now limit to half the week to make sure I get all the other important stuff I need. Like sweat potatoes, yams, collards, kale, spinach, avocados, sprouted nuts and seeds. For where it sounds you are at right now I would go the McDougal route. It's what I started with and glad I did. For me it relieved me of my food addiction and constant overeating. Never cured just in recovery which is were I belong. Happy and free with the ability to say yes or no to anything.

I hate saying this, but as I have watched him perhaps at 25 conferences there is something unlikeable about Brian Clement, I can't put my finger on it. The first time I saw him I detected incongruency that is what he says does not match who he seems to be, there is a disconnection I have always felt but hoped I was wrong about. It seems as if it is not just me and from comments that are others that share this opinion. It's as if he believes he is something he is not.

C'mon people. You are smarter than this! Eat a variety of plants (raw and cooked), making sure that you cover your macros, micros, and efa's, exercise moderately, take your B12, and you will be fine. You don't have to eat a raw, sprouted diet, and avoid fruit like this guy pushes. He doesn't even follow his own recommendations half the time and with all of the hair dye/grooming products he uses, I'd say this slick huckster's lifestyle causes him to get plenty of unnecessary toxins , so he's a hypocrite for trying to place such strict limitations on people other than himself. Vegan life can be easy, enjoyable, and long term success if you don't let charlatans like this invade your way of living. Listen to legit medical professionals and vegan dietitians like Gregger, Fuhrman, Esselstyn, Pam Popper, Brenda Davis, etc.
