Hira & Kiyoi || Prologue

The best part of this series was how beautiful and thought out so most of the shots were, as well as that extra emphasis on sounds instead of substituting it for background music.
I'll be making some gifs later of all the scenes I enjoyed, but it the way it was filmed suited the mood of the series very well. The pure sounds connected the viewer more, as well as at some moments the breathing or certain sounds gave off that kind of obsessive feel, accenting it.
I also didn't find either characters toxic, actually I'd say that it was refreshing. I really enjoy characters who have flaws, traumas, unique characteristics, etc. as long as they don't cause harm to others. It's not for everyone that's for sure, but for me it was refreshing.
My thumbnail is ridiculous, it is so old school what the hell. It is 2 in the morning, I just want to sleep...
