Hirebenkal Megalithic Site In Karnataka ||Hampi||World Tourism Day||

Hi ,I am Badrinath Joshi from Karnataka. I am traveler, cyclist and trekker.
Just 40kms from Hampi is Hirebenkal,India’s largest cluster of megalithic burial monuments in India. Place also known as Moryar hill. On occasion of world tourism day planned to visit Moryar hill. Megaliths are commonly found in Europe ,Africa and south America. Hirebenkal megalith is 3000 years old and dates back to 800 BCE to 200BCE.Do take local guides from Hampi or Anegundi because this place is remote and 1.5hrs trek to reach top. Enjoyed the trek and saw spectacular landscapes.
Nearest railway station is Hospet 35km from site and Hospet is 328km from Bangalore. Can also drive from Ganagavthi and Koppal.
