Very impressive, I live in Germany and I know what this terrible war has done. But has humanity really learned from this? Right now a disgusting war is raging in Europe and many are afraid that the situation will escalate. We humans have to educate people over and over again about the Second World War. He must not be forgotten. All the best for Japan. 🇩🇪🌞🇯🇵

Humanity learns for living generations but after all suffering generations die, it only becomes a far away story. So it will cycle again.

I have lived in many places in Japan. Hiroshima is one of the best places where I lived. Hiroshima is not too big. The population is about 1.2 millions--just the right size for me.

Such a beautiful city. It’s sad what happened. My grandfather was in the pacific WW2 in the Navy he survived the war. The one thing he shared with me was how afraid they all were of the kamikaze pilots he was a bad alcoholic and obviously had PTSD. I hope the old man talking to the school children wasn’t spreading hatred towards Americans. Lord knows, I heard enough of don’t ever buy anything German or Japanese from my grandfather until he passed away. Thankfully, all the ugly and hatefulness has passed with that generation. Thank you for sharing your walk it’s very humbling and hopefully people will be more kind to one another.

10:22, the statue of the young girl Sadako Sasaki. A very sad story, but at the same time strangely beautiful and touching. Good to see that today's children are still involved. Yeah, hate to say it, but this world is by no means peaceful. Respect and prayers for all the victims and all the people of Hiroshima. 💚

Been nice to see a sunset 🌆 walk around the park to. But more than one school 🏫 group’s mainly elementary age kids including the ones wearing the red baseball cap 🧢 that’s a big group glad they are learning real history in school 🏫 and able to visit in person to. Other schools 🏫 from elementary to 1st year college ages need to do the same then go to Kyoto for festivals or on the holidays. Any unusual vending machines you come across show them to. Saw tourists without masks 😷 to . 🇧🇱⛩️📱🙏.
