Tiger Moth looks awesome, and I might have to give this a try when I get my hands on a wooden or Ertl version of him in the future. While I generally don't think every single truck, and car in the show needs a face, it is fun when you give them one. And going by magic railroad logic Lady is the one who makes the engines and everything else sentient, so I guess there's nothing to bring the life there's no need. But Tiger Moth was one of those characters that did need a little life put him to him. Anyway, fantastic work. Matt can't wait to see more.

I see the faces as metaphorical, which is how MasterOfTheLemons and I have viewed things for years. So in that sense, every vehicle should have a face since every vehicle has some level of personality. Thanks for your comment!

It's a simple custom, but I like it. I really enjoy your headcannon on Tigger moth, I like it alot. Well done

I’m glad you gave Tiger Moth a face, personally I think it looks a lot better with a face, it gives more character and personality! I also did the same with my ERTL bluebell and gave it a face. Nice custom btw!

Hmm I’ve never thought about tiger moth in WWl but I do love having Thomas characters in historical events. Also, you should definitely make a custom WWl tiger moth!

If I can find another TWR Tiger Moth cheap enough I will certainly make the WWI custom. Thanks!

In my headcanon, there are some vehicles that aren’t sentient (I always assumed this was the case to explain away why there are so many random trucks and other miscellaneous vehicles that clearly don’t have faces) but I think all the important vehicles [a.k.a. the ones revolving around the story] should be alive (with some exceptions, of course. Such as the jet engine.) Edit: I also have this rule in place to give a little bit of wiggle room for the rules of this universe as otherwise what qualifies as a “vehicle” can be a bit loose. A car and a train can have a phase why can’t a bicycle or a scooter? Or what about toy trains, they can move around, move cargo, and depending on how you use them can even serve practical purposes. Where is the line drawn between an object and vehicle? So to avoid going down the rabbit hole forever, I personally look at the Thomas universe as “some vehicles are alive and some aren’t.” Tiger moth is one of these characters who, although he could just be a normal plane, I like to think he does have a personality

I have the same philosophy about TTTE&F. If only some vehicles have faces, the others should, too.

Will you release part 3 of Friedrich the German Engine or the full special anytime soon? I like your customs. I did the same thing with my ERTL Tiger Moth

3:00 Could you doo the same with less realistic characters like Thumper, Cleo, Gordon's snow machine, etc. All vehicles with a freelance design I mean. 😊

Tigermoth doesn't have a face and neither does Henrietta I don't know why. my opinion about faces on vehicles is they should only have faces if they directly interact with the story. Tigermoth and Henrietta directly interact with the story but to be honest rolling stock like tankers or flatbeds don't. i believe every plank truck and goods van should have a face but that wasn't the case in the classic series
