Thanks to this, someone can probably work out the basis of all the planes: Soppy is probably short for Sopwith (Sopwith floatplane based on the Camel?), Phos- Voss (pilot), Tros- Albatross, Martin- Martin MB-2? I have no clue for Ryan though.
