Amazing video. One of your best. Love the new series. Greenville looks like a very cool town to visit. And that log cabin was very cool. Can you imagine living there back in the day?

Oh I can imagine. So very neat. I love finding those old buildings and find myself wondering about life in those days often.

@Whittdocs I was down in Columbus a few weeks ago. There is a park out near Dublin that we checked out. There is a log cabin sitting in the middle of the park built in 1875. We walked around it and the fenced off property. What I thought was different was the kitchen was in a separate building. Never seen that before.

I'm very impressed with Greenville. What a beautiful town, so clean and well preserved. I don't remember ever hearing about Franklin. I am, however, old enough to remember those old theaters. I grew up in Lansing, MI and we had quite a few, even one named the Capitol Theater. Great video. 😊

HELLO fellow Michigander. I grew up about 30 miles from Detroit.. I too love his videos. Some of the best on the internet..I have been to some president's graves and homes ...my favorite so far is the HERMITAGE owned by Andrew Jackson . The grounds and his home and his grave with his friend right near him , touched my soul. I could have stayed in that property for weeks. Just beautiful

Me, being from the Piedmont of North Carolina, I was all prepared to be able to hit my home state today, after the excursion through Kentucky. Alas, we must await the next episode in order to come home. I live down the mountain from Hendersonville; however, I have recently considered moving to the Hendersonville area, because of several aspects of that area. I look forward greatly to find out your impressions of that city and visiting some of the sites that you discover while here in North Carolina. See you then,

" His body was wrapped in what ?" I still dont know the answer. I got tired of waiting for the answer. Why advertise something and then make the viewer wait through a 25 minute video for the answer. Why not put that segment first and then if other viewers want to watch a complete history of the area, then let them watch it. I'm now afraid to watch your other videos based on their titles.....😢

I’m not surprised Johnson went with the Union. Tennessee was a deeply divided state on secession and was the last state to secede. They sent regiments to both sides. As far as AJ goes I’ll say this. The worst thing that could’ve happened is Lincoln's death. I’ve heard of Franklin. CW battle fought there. Really cool video Chris. I enjoy US history.
