Diana has the single most rare type of voice on Earth. She has the 'Dramatic ContrAlto', plus she can sing in Overtones which basically means she can sing with two voices at the same time! She does not need Auto-Tune for pitch correction because of her abilities. All of this together makes her absolutely unique in the world today! Because of her very sad beginnings, she has been trained from the age of Five years old how to manipulate her voice to get the desired effects. She can even Yodel! She can sing in some Operatic tones (although she is not a trained Opera singer yet, she does have what it takes so if she wanted to attend school for it, I have no doubts that she could succeed that way) but she can also do other MARVELOUS things, as you can see and hear. She stuns everybody constantly. Any time she takes the stage it becomes a special occasion. :)

Great reaction guys, Did you know that Diana has another channel called " Diana Junior" were she has a bunch of songs from the age of 7 yr. old to 13. Like "Hit the road Jack" by Ray Charles" & " Venus" that are just incredible considering her age. And you'll be just amazed as you are now. Thanks for your reaction. Loved your reactions man. Why don't you give your friend what she expected to hear and then way more by watching her recent duet with Brandon Stone singing "The day you...". Or if he loves Opera den you can go with her singing "Fly away on the wings of the wind". You can show him her power by watching her sing the main theme from the film "Dune", or if you both want to listen to some more of these crazy low notes and also an INCREDIBLE video clip the you have to witness "Baikal" where Diana plays the spirit of the lake Baikal saving a kid from certain death. Of curse there is always the classic "Wicked game" too that she did at the age of 15 if you both want to see a very similar performance with her "Can't help falling in love". 🙂Если говорить языком военных, то Диана исполнила эту песню идеально в стратегическом плане. Эту стратегию я бы назвал "Стратегия течения реки". В начале, у своих истоков, течение реки тихое, спокойное, почти незаметное. Чем дальше мы спускаемся по реке - тем течение становится более глубоким, широким, полноводным, быстрым. Ну а в конце путешествия нас совершенно неожиданно поджидает водопад - смертельный, пенный, рокочущий, грохочущий, бушующий, стремительный, необузданный по своей мощи, все сметающий на своем пути, переливающийся всеми цветами радуги... Кстати, именно эту стратегию исполнения песен часто можно услышать у еще одного гения вокального мастерства - Димаша.😊

Qofy!! That was so thoughtful of you to give the thank you in Russian! Respect shown to your viewers there. That made me smile. ❤️ As for "What did I just hear?" LOL. He heard an amazing contralto performing her craft. I believe she was only 18 at the time of this performance, too. (I'm pretty sure she won this contest, actually.) She's actually produced a version of this song that I like. I never liked that song before, ever, until I heard her take on it. She's so good at what she does.

Да, она Победила в этом конкурсе! И вообще, она с 6 лет участвовала в ~ 50 вокальных конкурсов, и в подавляющем большинстве из них, - Побеждала. И всегда, во всяком случае была лауреатом. В некоторых случаях, ей давали разные призы без первого места, просто для того, чтобы дать "дорогу" и другим конкурсантам, - ей давали выступать Вне Конкурса.... 😊.

Вполне перспективная форма подачи такого материала. Ветеран и знаток демонстрирует новичку то, с чем мы уже хорошо знакомы. Он знает - и мы знаем - каков будет эффект этой демонстрации. Ожидания подтвердились; ветеран радуется - и мы тоже получаем свою долю удовлетворения. Здесь достигается как бы двойной эффект: сочетание ожидаемого неожиданного с другим неожиданным - внезапным и шокирующим. Это ожидаемое неожиданное тем не менее, не становится для нас полностью привычным:: мы каждый раз хотя бы немного удивляемся. Мы каждый раз, слушая это, ощущаем, что столкнулись с чем-то из ряда вон выходящим, с чем-то совершенно оригинальным. Так оно и есть. Это всё могло бы восприниматься иначе, если бы многие вокруг запели так же. Если бы хоть кто-нибудь один запел бы так же. Но никто не запел - и похоже, никогда не запоёт. Уникальное и неповторимое продолжает оставаться абсолютно уникальным и абсолютно неповторимым - и именно поэтому мы смотрим и будем продолжать смотреть на это выступление Дианы Анкудиновой ещё очень долго. Как в этом, так и в некоторых других своих выступлениях она даёт нам что-то такое, в чём мы, несомненно, нуждаемся - и что не сможем получить ни от кого другого...
