Aww you two are so sweet together! Also, agree with Nicole’s fruit rankings 🤣
@NicoleEddy15 жыл бұрын
H C Look, don’t get me wrong. I love a good old orange juice...but eating an orange straight up, that’s just a logistical nightmare. A lot of mess & effort for little reward. Mango, papaya & blueberries on the other hand...little effort (mangos can be a hassle, I’ll admit) and maximum reward. I actually had blackberries the other day & really enjoyed those. Raspberries though...they’re not great. Anyway, that’s the extended fruit ranking version, you’re welcome 😉

if you’re looking for a “yelp” like app, try 大众点评 (da zhong dian ping) - not sure if they have an English version, but it will tell you all the best restaurants around. 美团 (mei tuan) is great for discounts; many restaurants offer their most famous dishes in steeply discounted “sets”! also, you can get tickets to the tourist spots for cheap, and skip the line. If you’re interested in places like yu garden, be sure to visit the lovely, ancient and storied city of Suzhou, famous for its garden-estates, about a half-hour train ride away! If you’re looking for more nature or hiking, visit mountains like wuyi shan (武夷山), huan shan (黄山), etc.!

I am a Chinese, welcome to China, my country has 25 large cities of this size, there are many small cities, style is very different, compared to Shanghai, I prefer Hangzhou, Xi'an, Chongqing, Lijiang, Guilin, Shenzhen, these places are very good, recommended you to go. You don't have to worry about security in China, as do the countryside. China has one of the lowest crime rates in the world. Because the Western media, especially the United States, have been smearing China, leading many foreigners to be misled by false news, but lies can never overcome the truth, I hope you have a good time in China!
@NicoleEddy15 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much for your comment :) Very interesting to read and will certainly look up the cities that you mentioned. My boyfriend does a lot of work with fruit markets in the smaller cities such as Hangzhou, Chengdu & Chongqing so I have no doubt that I'll be visiting there sometime this year to check it out. I know too well about media smearing a countries reputation, South Africa is unfortunately subject to that too (although we obviously do have a high crime rate, but the good easily gets overlooked by media). We actually met a bunch of American Tourists in Yu Garden who couldn't believe that we optionally chose to live in South Africa & questioned our sanity...crazy. Excited already to go back & visit China :)

As much as how nice the city of Shanghai is, what do you think of the CCP’s ongoing massive suppression of its own people and espionage overseas? I’m curious to know uour perspective on this.

You are a brainwashed fellow by false news.
@NicoleEddy15 жыл бұрын
Sam Bartowski Sounds like you’re more curious to nitpick on the fact that I didn’t address those issues in my travel vlog... I’m not a journalist. I documented what I saw. Every country has its own dark issues...South Africa, the USA, most of Africa. By me traveling to these countries & not openly speaking about these problems, is not me saying that it doesn’t exist. Many news related channels cover these topics in depth so best you check them out if you want more info!

@@NicoleEddy1 Thank you for the logical and reasonable response, as for OP that's like asking how do you feel about all the atrocities the American gov has done under a NY travel vlog video, worst part is you're getting your fake "news" from Western propaganda machines spreading slander about China, gtfo little crazy brainwashed troll.
