Gatsby is the example of a smart man to leave that trash, unlike most men that sykes themselves out to think they can fix a broken diamond👹💡Once it's broken, there's no glue in existence that's strong enough to fix it😔

True, but even if Ashleigh didn't cheat and she didn't do anything, he would have still kissed Chan in a movie and started an emotional relationship with her. And hired a hooker pretending to be her. Neither are fantastic people tbh

That laugh is poison. I remember the first time I realized that something as simple as a laugh can be pleasant. I was in class and a girl I was cool with laughed and something about it just seemed so pleasing, I actually said my thoughts aloud "You have a really pretty laugh". And this was me being totally sincere. I had always heard her laugh, but in a quiet room I could really pay attention and listen. And it was as beautiful a laugh as laughs can get.

My brother plays the piano, and yes, everywhere we go if there's one available he will just sit down and start playing. Bars, restaurants, literally everywhere and the crazy thing is, people tip him. He has paid for our dinners in a matter of 15-20 mins. And usually it's the exact same set, starting with some classical piece, then moving into something he wrote, and ending with piano man.

Dude I don't think you know what Star-Crossed Lovers mean. Neither Gatsby nor Ashley were being told not to see each other by their parents or peers. Nobody was keeping them apart, in fact Gatsby's mum even approved of them getting married due to Ashley's wealthy background. Romeo and Juliet are an example of Star-Crossed Lovers, not this film.

A typical Woody Allen character study. Gatsby is a guy who has everything he could possibly want in this world but no woman to share it with. Gatsby finds Ashleigh attractive, but she is flighty and Flaky. However, he clearly thinks he can make a relationship work with her. But when he crosses paths with Chan, he finds a woman just like him, candid and cynical. Therefore, he ditches Ashleigh for Chan, hoping that he has made the right choice for himself and his future. ┌( ಠ‿ಠ)┘

Plenty of ppl will sit down to play piano when it’s their first time visiting if they have the ability AND enjoy it.... depending on how close they are. Btw, I’ve seen this movie & I really enjoyed it. The characters weren’t necessarily likable but they were very believable, so not necessarily dislikable either. However, i TOTALLY dig Gatsby’s mom. She kinda reminds me of me except I don’t think my hubby’s fam is worth as much as Gatsby’s but still....

I love myself so much! Mostly bc o, the idiotic, ridiculous, and just plain ol’ regular dumb isht I do. Now, is a fabulous moment. So.... I’m reading the reply that I made to myself. I didn’t initially realize it was my comment. And you think, “uuuuhhh,..ya, and....?” Well..... I was about to comment but then I read it again and decided I wldnt make that comment but the one you’re currently reading (btw, kinda sorry for ya bc no big pay off. You not gonna cry or laugh or be angry). And now you’re probably like, “damn b!tch! Can you just fckng get to wtf you wanna say?” And YES, yes. Uhhh, yes, I can. So.... I was about to comment “whoa! Your comment is almost & possibly exactly written as I wldv written it. Dude, cool!” And then.... BAM! Idk why I shared that? However, if you’re reading this right now (whenever NOW is for you. Bc your now is my future) then know YOU were supposed to see it, you NEEDED to see it! Why? Most likely bc if you have anything that’s slightly bringing you down (NOT clinical depression. I’m referring to Sad for the moment or frustrated or whatever. Altho maybe if legit clinical depression then maybe for a moment this will bring you some joy. I just wanted to differentiate bc I understand clinical depression and I don’t want anyone to think that I dont know depression cant be gone just bc you hear or read a few sentences. Back to the regularly scheduled program) or frustrating you or your just in a brain fog moment where nothing is clear.... well, you can read this and say to yourself, “well hot damn! I’m glad that nutter butter b!tch aint my wife, mother, daughter, sister, neighbor, cashier, driving past me on the highway, or just aint my whatever!” Now, your mission (isn’t optional) is to pay it forward. If only you smile every time you walk past a person or make sure whoever you loves knows that you love them or open the door for a stranger or whatever. I love me! I don’t know about you but.... If you know what that’s about then I do love you too! You’re awesome and beautiful and deserve many wonderful people to have fabulous adventures with (whether netflix & chill or cross continent drive or cruise around the world or walk around the block or whatever adventure) and after the adventures, you deserve amazing memories! Be careful with your heart and with the heart of those in your life. You never know, the life you save just may be your own! Blessed Journey to all y’all and yours!
