Fun fact. Yuen Wah wasn't just a one-time stunt double. He is one of the greatest martial artists of all times and did dozens of movies. That's why he was picked for this movie. Kung Fu Hustle has countless easter eggs, hommages and inside jokes, basically every second name, action or sentence is a reference or callback to older movies. The more you know about kung fu movie history, the better this movie becomes. I consider myself a buff but did catch only a quarter or so.
