Fun fact: The grumpy land lady, Yuen Qiu, was in the James Bond movie The Man With The Golden Gun. She was one of the school girls that save Bond when he is escaping from the Karate school. Her husband the land lord was played by Yuen Wah, who was Bruce Lee's stunt double in Enter The Dragon. When you see Bruce doing the acrobatic tumbling and back flip, that was actually Yuen Wah.😉

Kung Fu Hustle is a stand alone Masterpiece; of humor, tragedy, good & evil, standing up to bullies, fighting back, lost love, and rising above every defeat and challenge to victory. And near the end, lost love is renewed; beautifully. You might even be inspired to look to the clouds for spiritual inspiration. It's simply a great movie, and language is no barrier to enjoying Kung Fu Hustle.

Kung Fu Hustle is an absolutely great movie. The landlady throwing the pots while constantly in her pj’s, hair in curlers and cigarette dangling is a true cinematic gem of a character. The Kung Fu Hustle video game is also a lot of fun as you jump over rats and try to avoid being hit by one of the planters constantly being lobbed by her.

I remember first time I watched this movie, first 30minutes I was like, 'what the hell am I watching?' coz the comedy is really strong, all the characters act like losers, some of them are disgusted me.. But when the action and drama started, I was like, 'wow'. This movie is like manga Made into movie: the various kungfu style, the CCG effect, even until the ending. I recommend it for others who havent watch it yet.

Kung Fu Hussle is just a masterpiece of Cinema! Each fight scene is not just your typical Hollywood action scene it is pure poetry! I cant believe I'm watching this 20 years on and each fight scene still looks amazing! (2024), Where as fights in 'The Matrix' movies look pretty bad CGI for today, This still looks amazing!
