I couldn't agree more Marc Bolan for me was the most amazing artist the UK and the world has ever seen we need to do even more to celebrate the brilliance of his work - this was originally one of two tunes on the B side of Children of the revolution and was never on an a studio album in Marcs era although the original version was put on 'Great Hits' a superb compilation from the day x

Hi John it's Stephen Vine, I hope you are well? Do you know much about this bari watts publication , "a tale untold" to be published shortly, supposed to be some interesting new stuff to read ? As for your remixes in the mid to late eighties , what I think it did was to open up a new audience to marcs music , and that was the main aim right ? And I think it did it's job as the media had conveniently forgotten about marc and his great music , and also tony Visconti was involved in several of your remixes I believe . I don't think you should be criticized for doing what you did, as now in 2023, nearly 46 years after his passing, his music is as popular as ever , they are timeless classics and will remain a very important part of 20th century music. Someone once said form is temporary , class is permanent, marc had bundles of talent and was an excellent guitar player so sadly often underrated in his lifetime. He would be so proud today if he were around to see how popular and loved he still is . Keep a little marc in your heart ❤️❤️❤️❤️

From this lyric we can see that Marc understood the message of scripture better than many Christian believers - LOVE IS GONNA WIN … - can be an assertion because it’s in scripture and because the inspiration for that scripture was & is the creator who IS LOVE, i often find myself reminding ‘believers’ that GOD created ALL THINGS - this includes time itself therefore the events of this world are KNOWN to GOD/CREATOR/LOVE/SPIRIT - Who made the ‘first and last’/‘alpha and omega’ ‘ beginning & End’ the realm beyond for our souls MUST lead to salvation of all - LOVE NEVER FAILS

This is way better than the original, such a great song needed to be longer. Song credits go to; Bill Legend on drums, Steve Currie on bass, Mickey Finn on Congas, and providing the great backing vocals are Howard Kaylan and Mark Volman. And who are they? They are the front men for the band "The Turtles". They were on this and the majority of Marc Bolan / T-Rex hits, starting with the Brown Album, Electric Warrior and The Slider (to name the main three albums).

Still they would not leave me alone, it was about this time i fell in love with an older woman who could never be, cos of distance, time and age. I still play her song to this day. 'Go away from my world' Marianne has always been faithful to me, so you see, i still love me and her. but the girls out there are stale there. Love has always won. @@tracy-paulobrien9368 This tune was one of two tunes on the b-side of Children of the revolution which would have been a Christmas number one in the UK but for a novelty record (Jimmy Osmonds ‘long haired lover from Liverpool) people in time don’t see the future but that is to say our body and mind are fixed in a time which is moving forward but always ‘now’ to God (who made everything) Time is NOT moving forward God is in all time and all times all creation from beginning to end is outside of God yet God is in all and will be in all (from our perspective in time) our Souls are most likely out of Time thus prophets can say what is revealed to them with respect to future events AFAIK (and believe)

He starts out as a narcissist and, then uses the words love is the answer? Marc didn't write that one, but, then again, it could be a coincidence. He did have that word salad kind of poetry that didn't really make too much sense. It was pretty to listen to but, people closest to him say that he was like a helium balloon that you had to hold on to the string.
@tony.hiscox7 жыл бұрын
Love - loves itself in fact Love says love others AS you if you where loving yourself if you don’t love yourself first how can you know what love is to enable you to love others or to understand the power of love - and even if Marcs love is flawed isn’t it flawed in all of us and isn’t that we we ultimately all need salvation - the helium balloon quote - that’s your quote surely(?) - I’ve never heard Marc described in such a way by “people closest to him” word salad - never you’re thinking of David Bowie who cut up words and reordered phrases to see what he got - Marc on the other hand took clips of a bigger vision - all through his creative output Marc did this - he saw what he wrote about as though an out of sequence vision - maybe you don’t think so - but then I implore you to listen to his creative output more and more and as you do you’ll find bits of the lyrical puzzle that fit - I don’t think we ever got it all BTW - so I think some other visionary tuned in to the some other world would be needed to ever finish the story - but in the meantime “...I’m still thinking”

In scripture it's understood that GOD is LOVE - Marcs lyrics say "LOVE is gonna win it's gonna beat your sins" this ultimately is the message of scripture not the false doctrine that YOU, ME or anyone has to do something, but that GOD is saviour - I don't understand why Marcs Lyric is offensive and "the overlay" is to show that this IS what scripture really says and not "hey, god's gonna beat you up unless you do something" which was what the typical "christian" (actually unchristian) church was/is saying Jesus was once asked "what is the greatest command?" - he said "love God" (who we can't see and who many think doesn't even exist) and "love our neighbours as we would love ourselves" [ literally those we encounter ] - please don't beat me up for pointing out the truth of Marcs lyrics - If if believe God doesn't exist that's fine by me and God - because when LOVE is ready you will change what you think - or we will both die and that'll be it - either way have a wonderful day and life and love the other person xx
