If forget if it's based on the person's alignment with the force or anything like that. If I remember correctly, the LEGO Star Wars TV series that aired on the Disney Channel covered this.

It would've been interesting if Rey turned evil and took over the Sith Forces while Kylo Ren fights against her for dominance with the First Order and Knights Of Ren that are loyal to Kylo Ren(more loyal to the Empire instead of the Sith). While the Resistance tries to rallies the New Republic.

@@coachmikesfilmroom3111 not really. Their was no road map for the trilogy which was the biggest mistake because most people (myself included) think 8 ruined everything. The most common complaint about the third movie was that it feels like Palpatine should have been Snoke and they had to replace him since he died in 8. Plus nothing actually happened in 8 which they tried to compensate for in 9 which just rushed the whole movies plot.

They pulled those Force powers from the comics. Luke was known for healing during combat. Some not all Jedi have the ability we see in Force Awakens where she sees events after touching the Lightsaber. It's called Force Echo.

the real problem is how Rey was just pulling these force powers out of thin air like a lightsaber rather than training to acquire them, yet the stuff the show her having trained for (like levitating herself and a bunch of stones at the start of the movie) go largely unused for the rest of the story.

Just because it comes from Comics doesn't mean it's any good either. Everyone praises Legends but Legends had the idea of Palpatine Returning with his secret fleet, and not forgetting the contradicting stories, and the outragious ideas that don't feel like Stars Wars at all. The whole Force Heal and Teleportation comes out of nowhere and is extremely odd.

just in reference to 10:00 about Leia ungoing the training, there is actually a scene in the film that does show her training with Luke when she throws the Saber to the fire and starts to talk to lukes ghost, it was only a lightsaber on saber fight scene briefly, but it was still used as closure to that.

Dude was a bastard, killed his dad, killed a LOT Of people with the first order, spent most of the trilogy trying to kill rey and people she (supposedly) cares about... Here's a better way that all the Jedi Spirits helping Rey can work: Rey says to Palpatine, "Every time I attack your body, one of them is going to attack your SOUL, until there is nothing left of it." She then does a move akin to Cloud's Omni-Slash from Final Fantasy VII, with each Jedi Spirit taking turns to slash Palpatine's soul with their Lightsabers, and then for the final blow, ALL of them fly into Rey's Lightsaber and SUPERCHARGE it.

About the force healing thing, Baby Yoda did it first, and if a baby with no training can do it then a trained Jedi should be able to do it

to be fair, Baby Yoda is like 50 years old and we have no indication on when it's race actually starts to develop it's force ability so it could have been messing around with the force in small ways for decades before the start of the show.

On the other hand, we are shown Rey is training to levitate herself and a bunch of rocks but as the HISHE video shows, the movie basically forgot about that part instantly.

They just didn't put it in the movies because the characters in the movies didn't know how to do it. The Force isn't just one set of abilities. Hell, in every movie they've introduced a new ability.
