@gutmicrobiomequeen Жыл бұрын
@@agenciahidalgo great question! We don't know that yet- we know so little about the microbiome, let alone how to tinker with individual species. For what it's worth, acidifying the colon seems to be the most effective way to target Klebsiella and Escherichia species. So, prebiotics (especially high FODMAP types) and probiotics are likely the best ways to go about lowering this.

Dearest Dr. Nambudripad, I'm back after these 6 months to let you know I'm totally past my histamine problem. It took about 5 months, and fasting was the biggest factor. I took L-Glutamine regularly and general vitamin/mineral support along the way, too, but I did OMAD (one meal a day, 23:1 fasting to eating hours) for 80% of the time and 18:6 for 20% of the time excluding the 5 3-day fasts I did in that time. When I did eat, I ate ridiculously clean and low carb, no added sugar, only rare glasses of organic wine. Thank you for your information about gut health and especially your generous dose of encouragement which made a huge difference when I was first facing this Goliath in my life. Slayed him with one smooth rock, fasting! Shalom and blessings be yours in increasing abundance!

Would be so great to talk to someone who actually is knowledgeable about these issues and cares to see patients get better. I'm stuck doing all this self-diagnosis and research and really just don't know where to turn. Am tired of being in pain after eating, though it seems to occur randomly and have not been able to isolate what hurts me. Was told I could have something called mastocytosis years ago but they have just had me on daily bilastine for this... if I miss even one day, I get the hives on my lips and hands - miserable life. I'll keep watching more of your videos and see if I can discern which of your products might be best for me but any help would be appreciated. Does anyone from this channel take any sort of consults via e-mail maybe? Just desperate for help, it has been an absolutely miserable time... Thanks for this video! It’s one of the most comprehensive and easy to follow ones I’ve found on the topic (and I’ve watched a LOT in the past 7 years). Looking forward to watching more of your work. Question: how can one recognise when the gut is healthy? What are the markers to evaluate this?
@drrajsree Жыл бұрын
Thanks so much for watching. When your gut is healthy, typically there should be no bloating, pain and bowel movement should be regular and daily. Of course you could do a full Microbiome test and check. Inflammation markers to make sure everything is healthy as well.

My histamine intolerance didn't start until I quit the anxiety depression med Mirtazapine which is a H1 histamine blocker (which I didn't know at the time I was taking it). I was on it for 2 years. When I quit it a year ago I started having histamine overload and still do. I get headaches, waterly burning eyes, anxiety, brain fog, ringing ears, and total fatigue. Doctors didn't know what was wrong with me after several visits. I had to figure it out on my own after watching videos like this. Going to try to eat more garlic since it's a natural antihistamine.

Hi Tony, I am literally suffering with symptoms similar to yours. I'm pretty sure that I need to heal my gut microbiome to get better. The problem is that the food required to heal are high in histamine...can you please share with me what you ate, what supplements you took and how long did it take for your symptoms to go away? Anxiety is my worst symptom and it intensifies after I eat. I tried making an appointment with Dr. Nambudripad but she's not taking any more patients. I cried when I was told that. I recently went to see a functional doctor but I'm not sure if he's going about my treatment correctly...I would really appreciate your response. It will really help me. Thank you

Hey Doctor, keep up these videos, absolutely loving the information you provide. My ears pricked up when you leaky gut is testable, and again when you said you tested your patient for it. How is this possible? What test do you do? I thought it was impossible to tell as it’s microscopic and still not even proven to exist yet? Any help you could give would mean a lot, I’m going through a really rough time right now. Cheers again!

kzbin.info/www/bejne/apC1qoFrgpussK8 Please watch my video on Leaky Gut. I use the Genova GI effects stool profile which measures the protein called Zonulin in the stool. Zonulin is found in the tight junctions between the cells lining our intestines. When zonulin is elevated in the stool, it suggests disruption in the tight junctions between the cells (Leaky Gut). This is by far the best video on this topic, the only issue here is that L-glutamine can also cause reactions in leaky gut because it can get absorbed too quiclky like other bioamines so there is no need to supplement it if you consume quality meats and meat stocks (chicken with vegies for example) in your diet.

I've suffered with several autoimmune issues for 12+ years. I had a total colectomy 6 years ago at Cleveland clinic due to severe IBS. I started on an elimination diet 8 months ago because of horrific skin rashes, bone and joint pain, severe inflammation, etc, etc. Since trying to reintroduce foods, I'm now having what certainly appears to be a histamine intolerance. I'm at the point where I'm only eating beef and drinking water and still am having to take an antihistamine around the clock and STILL have constant rhinorhea. It's cold and flu season, so I don't even like going out in public because I get dirty looks because I'm sneezing and sniffling almost non-stop. My doctor doesn't have a clue. Please help. I cannot go on just eating beef for the rest of my life. Thank you so much for your video. I've been desperately seeking information and it certainly seems like this is what I'm dealing with. I just don't understand why it started after I changed to an elimination diet.

I forgot to add that I tried reintroducing dairy and it caused the most severe diarrhea that I've ever experienced, that lasted 2 months and was extremely foul smelling. I'm so sorry if that's TMI. And that's when my sneezing and runny nose got significantly worse. I also gained approximately 10 pounds, whish appears to be all inflammation in my belly because I have extreme bloating again. I have gluten intolerance but never noticed a dairy intolerance until trying to reintroduce it.

Thank you doc for sharing this video, it is indeed helpful, I have been suffering for acute hives since past 1month, but was clueless how it started, then tracked down what I ate, and found that peanut and hazel nut triggered it. I took fexofenadine and cetrizine but it helped vanish the old hives but recurrence of new hives were always there. Last Wednesday I ate beans which is my favorite so had good qty and next day my limbs specially legs were covered with red hives, burning and itchy allover, got myself admitted under casualty in hospital for observation, injected pheniramine maleate and hydrocortisone, and applied calamine lotion. Eventually the burning n itching stopped so I was sent home. Later I took 4 more shots of each of the above injections. My mistake I din check which food I should have stopped for some time to control the histamine Bread, cow milk, beans, banana, whole wheat, eggs I was eating and hence the episodes of hives always. It's been a scary month for me doc. Being an Indian, going on low histamine or no histamine diet is difficult. I was wondering if you can share some tips for Indian people like us, and also suggest some supplements. My GP suggested me to see a physician, and probably test for auto immune disorder tomorrow, I will keep you posted, I will follow u on insta Thank you doctor, sending hugs❤

Can you take probiotics at the same time, or should you do this after a phase of reducing bad bacteria? I think I may have MCAS after my COVID 19 infection, as my symptoms can also be set off by strong scents. Do you think the protocols for histamine intolerance will also work for MCAS? Thanks!

I just realized this today after fasting and being tired of taking Claritin everyday and getting a different diagnosis every few years for the different symptoms. This was a perfect fit after years of not drinking a glass of wine lead to this discovery after waking up with hives I had not had so bad in the same amount of years. Hives lessen when I stopped drinking and whenever I got pregnant. But I have always had hives and I eat so much different stuff i knew it could not just be one food group causing the hives. My mother had all the same symptoms. Fish is literally my favorite food uggh.
