NOTE : Undermethylated individuals are prone , and are ALWAYS at high histamine levels , they cannot , should not , be exposed to high histamine foods , they have chronic elevated high copper levels , low zinc , low B-6 genetically causing an excess of copper toxicity , these people ARE HISTAMINE INTOLERANT , they are in an high histamine state 24/7 , and if they do not address zinc , B-6 deficit , they cannot detox copper , or lower histamine response .

You say it is not our immune system, but in my case unfortunately it is! I inherited, it is very unlikely that all my family had the same environmental issues. Specially I live in the U.K. they live in Hungary. My grandpa had it, my mom has it, my sister has it. And now I have it. Eating the right food does not make me sick. My DAO level is low.

My thoughts, my family in Cadiz have the same problems as me in the netherlands. They live in the sea, pure fresh air. It had to be what we eat! And i do eat spanish myself lits of histamine 😂😂. My sisters and brothers also here and their kids also have severe allergys and eat dutch. I am the only one that changed the i thought it was so healthy for decades and my problems went away. No more pills and steroidspray and headache naussea etc. I became way worse after covid. Now LC with other immune stuff going on. Histamine is also an immune defect.

I don’t understand why some people have low blood pressure, while people like me have high blood pressure with histamine intolerance. It’s so bad that this GI issues/gastritis/histamine intolerance landed me in the hospital many times. And, when they run tests, it turns up normal, therefore, they send me home with my hypertension with no answers. I finally did a serum histamine test and it was 67 high, out of 0-8 (normal). I don’t know how to completely heal this health issues.

THE CELERY JUICE ALONE HELPS TREMENDOUSLY. I've only been taking it a week and I feel better. I suffer from salicylate and histamine issues. I have found that sticking to a larger piece if meat and a small portion of sweet potato or meat and green beans helps me a lot. It helps lower histamine load. But the celery juice is amazing and I'm not even doing it correctly. I put about 5 stalks of celery in my magic bullet every night with water and then blend it in the morning when I get up, and you're not even supposed to add the water but I don't have a juicer. I then put it in a small mesh strainer over my glass and smash all the juice out. It only makes 6 to 8 ounces but it has helped so much. You won't believe it. Just try it.

you might want to research "mast cell activation syndrome". Experts are Dr. Lawrence Afrin and Dr. Theoharides. Dr. Afrin's book "Never bet against occam" is very recommended. Unfortunately, there is no underlying cause established yet. It's probably multifactorial involving genes, microbiome and trauma/stressful events in life.

@Gut Feelings SPINACH CONCERN and Solution : I have found from other sources but also on Wikipedia --> Contents, nr. 4 = Nutrients : -- "Although SPINACH is touted as being high in iron and calcium content, and is often served and consumed in its RAW FORM, raw spinach contains high levels of OXALATES, which block absorption of calcium and iron in the stomach and small intestine. --> Spinach COOKED IN SEVERAL CHANGES OF WATER has much lower levels of oxalates and is better digested and its nutrients absorbed more completely."
@1RandomMiss
@1RandomMiss 3 жыл бұрын
I’m not sure about spinach containing high amounts of iron. Lately I have been seeing reports that the iron level was overestimated due to displacement of a decimal point. So the correct amount is in fact very low and that the oxalic acid in spinach inhibits the body’s ability to absorb the iron that’s why vitamin C should be consumed with the spinach. Of course I don’t have a clue about the facts because everything on the internet seems to be contradictory. Im just sharing what I’ve been coming across.

You should have talked about stabilising mast cells.This is the most important issue with histamine overburden.Histamine is released by your mast cells-if they are not stable enough,you “dump” histamine.Therefore you have an intrinsic high burden in your body.When you add to that by eating high histamine foods this adds to your burden. Histamine is not easily degradeable in the body so builds very quickly. Without stabilising your mast cells you will not win the battle with histamine

Hi, I have low DAO so if I eat histamine foods, I don’t sleep. So I can’t eat spinach, tomatoes and ANY foods w histamine. I’m GF anyhow for 29 years. I also have high oxylates I believe - bc bone spurs in shoulder- says a bone dr, then chiropractor says crystals etc. i was on high dose vit c to not get Covid 1000 mg day which could’ve hurt it. Could also be due to adrenals but what u say makes sense bc I have hypothyroidism and low stomach acid . Will listen to more, but I can’t just eat all the foods w high nutrients bc of high histamines cause more insomnia. 😫

Hi! I want to say thank you for your video as it helped me ease my issue with spontaneous urticaria. I woke up on day and just got very itchy with everything all over my body-scalp, neck, stomach, butt, round big nodules around my legs and itchy feet. I went to my GP and he prescribed zyrtec and corticosteroids. That did not work. I noticed zyrtec made me worse and would cost my lips and eyes to be busted. The next day, I got rushed to the ER at my local hospital and was given steroid tablets and an antihistamine. Then I was diagnosed with widespread urticaria. However, I stumbled upon your video and I healed. The food I was taking made the biggest difference. Here is what I did: Breakfast: -100% aloe vera juice -2 celery sticks and green apple -tumeric with ginger and cinnamon hot drink Lunch: -Sweet potato (Gold or Okinawa) -Vitamin C supplement Dinner: -White Rice -Vegetables (broccoli, mushrooms, watercress) -Aloe vera juice again -tumeric with ginger and cinnamon hot drink With the diet above, I was still taking the prescribed 5/7 steroid tablets and loratadine by the ER doctor. After a couple days, the itchiness was gone. I think I also found out that I was allergic to chicken, prawns and chocolate (dairy). I’m being very careful about what I eat now coz honestly having urticaria is horrible-do not wish it even to my worst enemy.

There really seems to be no perfect protocol for all. One girl on here took zinc for a long while, only to find out it was causing more problems, because what she really needed was copper. So if you take zinc, you're risking an imbalance tween the two (and who knows what else), that's why I hesitate taking supplements in general, and consequently might wanna emphasize doing the supps periodically, every other day/week, or otherwise taking breaks from it. I definitely agree with tossing the dairy, which I can't fathom anyone doing well on. Especially the mainstream stuff, but even raw milk, I wouldn't consume it anywhere near daily. Many issues caused by an excess of calcium in our systems...

@Taiwo Omotosho Sounds similar to what I do, for I do not handle vegan protein sources well, I do eat meat and fish, but only enough to cover my requirment and I try to get as much as I reasonably can from sources like cabbage and broccoli. Lots of greens and herbs, lots of cabbage, no nightshades, no oils beside coconut and olive, no food addatives, no yeast, very little legumes and glutenfree "grains". No eggs, no dairy, no soy, no corn. Mainly sweetpotatos and plantains as carbs and in general as colorful as possible.

I am getting my genes tested and the company will give me a diet plan to meet my specific needs. I am cutting out toxins, working on quitting vaping right now by taking Wellbutrin which may or may not be toxic but it doesn't matter. It's the only thing that helped me quit in the past. In the meantime, I'm eating lots of olive oil as a natural DAO to flush out excess histamine. I am looking for a counselor to heal CPTSD with EMDR. I am looking for a job to afford this lifestyle. I tried supplements but they just don't help. Meeting your daily nutrient needs through diet is more helpful. I am looking for a dietician to help with more recipes to meet my nutrient needs too once I get my results back. I seriously don't recommend supplements, that's tricky business and too much work for many people. Food and cutting out toxins should be good enough. If it isn't, see a doctor, you may have something serious underlying. I recommend Toolbox Genomics, dietician, olive oil, and following their protocols. Full physical check up, see a GI doctor and get diagnosed first! You don't need to add anymore stress to your plate! It's full already. These protocols for healing histamine will do the opposite if it causes any stress. Stress is the number one histamine liberator. Stress is horrible and should be avoided at all costs. Quit trying to do this all on your own, reach out for help. You're driving yourself mad, I know, I am there right now and give up.

Thank you. Very helpful. There is a huge difference between healthy keto and unhealthy keto that most people don’t understand. Healthy keto is NOT High protein and low vegetables. Healthy keto includes 7 to 10 cups a day of fresh organic greens, a proper acidity in the gut, low to moderate amounts of healthy protein and when they say high fat, it is only healthy fats and it is only in a percentage of calories not a percentage of food because fats contain more calories per ounce. Many people also confuse the Adkins diet with keto. Adkins is high protein but true healthy keto is only low to moderate healthy protein.

One important connection to histamine intolerance is undermethylation. Google it, study it. It is also connected to depression and many other health problems. Around 38% are undermethylated, and they have a problem with the serotonin levels. Now you are challenged Peggy, to make a video about undermethylation. There are plenty of natural ways to heal. :)

Yours is the best explanation I've heard so far; my problem is 4 intolerances & I'm starving to death as I can only eat about a dozen foods, I'm suffering severe malnutrition! Every day I tested with Every food for 10 months & found I'm Gluten Intolerant, Lactose Intolerant, OIL intolerant, Histamine Intolerant! It's taken dozens & dozens of different enzymes you name it to find I can only take 3; Lacteeze for Lactose; Lipase PLUS for fat digestion & Histamine Blockers, they have not cured Diarrhea every 15 minutes every day, but the pains aren't quite as bad, and with those pains I have Uncrystallised Bare Ginger I suck on! I can only eat lean chicken, lean meat, potatoes, rice, broccoli, carrots, lettuce, red capsicum, parsley, chives, Decaf Tea, Decaf coffee, Raw sugar and Coconut cream in them! I'm sick of the bland foods, over those ten months my skin looks like someone they dug up and took out of a coffin after a few years of being buried, I used to have such beautiful skin but still have on my face. I take Quercentin, Zinc, High Vit C, Multi Vits, you name it I take it! I have dozens of cans of creamed corn, I'm too scared to eat after hearing what you've said about it. I was so healthy & well until I had an immense worry hit me suddenly & within 2 days this happened, I've read it's a brain/gut connection, I can definitely agree with that! Thank you for your piece here it's been very informative! I've cooked too much my whole life since 16 years old, I'm too tired to cook anymore, any ideas for what else I can eat would be greatly appreciated. I wish you well.

The thing is, when you actually have histamine intolerance, you have to not eat the high histamine foods at first or else you’ll be in a huge symptom flare and histamine overload constantly, which causes sleepless nights and the inability to digest foods and most people with this condition can’t take supplements or use herbs for this reason as well. So I don’t understand what to do based on this video.

Wow your videos and information in it makes great sense in the natural way. Thank u so much for all the videos. I have been a healthy person who doesn’t do too much junk very rarely I ate them. But I had sweet tooth. Post delivery I started having lethargy headaches sinus infection in cycles like every alternate week I have it in a month. My water intake was always low. In fear of weight gain during diet control my hungre were replaced my teas and food anytime and also eating sweets instead of meals. Also healthy meals avoiding sweets and snacks. In the long run it affected me silently. Holiday time came shared pizzas and pastas and sweets with my kiddo and Bhaam ! Stomach flu , migraine , yeast infection , bv , sluggish digestion , hives , fog , stomach flutter all began. Treatments were antibiotics , anti inflammatories , antihistamines etc still it didn’t address indigestion , high gas , ammonia smell, and mild remnants of bv and urticaria. I started noticing some food triggers which exactly matched what u said here. No 1 is sugar , then soy , gluten esp all purpose flour , even high intake of millets, finally milk . Didn’t notice much in egg. I am not 100percent gluten dairy egg free as I’m addicted to my morning milk tea ! With such limiting of these intakes I feel better. If I avoid it will heal me I feel after looking at your video. These are new age issues which not even mom or grandma is aware of. No one understands what’s the real issue including doc. For histamine intolerance I do have seen how raw spinach and cucumbers cause burning sensation in between the finger areas. Currently I have hypothyroid struggling between hunger, physical everyday work , exercise , tiredness and weight loss. I’m totally out of processed foods now. Will try to follow all tips u mentioned here strictly for full cure! Thank you again ! Reviewing after 1 year 😀

Juicing celery is not beneficial to everyone bc it’s extremely high in oxalate . It messed me up too when I juiced it . I can , however eat celery bits cut up for soups or salad with no side affects . Also be mindful of salicylates in your diet that often go hand in hand with oxalate sensitivity . Both are problematic for me . Hope this helps

Very interested in your ideas, research, and treatments because I’ve been dealing with CFS for 30 years … I’m not a fan of Western medicine, use organic products/foods as much as I can, hydrate (I think EVERYBODY is dehydrated, but…). I had taken NO antibiotics since 1986 (31+ years!) - until I had to have my gall bladder removed in 2018 (and then no more after that); I ate NO sugar for 6 months with little effect & ate NO flour for 2 years with little no effect. I have not eaten fruits or raw vegetables (because of IBS) for 11 years and no nightshades for the same period of time. I have lots of digestive issues (IBS) and had 3 very painful attacks with a week and was afraid to eat so for 2 ½ months I’ve been eating only chicken, rice (cakes, noodles, or mixed pilaf), Kalamata olives (¯\_(ツ)_/¯) and occasionally 1 dice of organic chicken lunch meat (no bad stuff), salmon and 90/10(lean meat/fat) ground beef, plus 3 pieces of 72% (min.) chocolate per day WITH NO PAIN OR SICKNESS. I’ve eaten no dairy, gluten, eggs, for 2 1/2 months & no corn or soy for many years. I’ve had several different blood tests, one of them being for food sensitivity & the highest sensitivities were for corn, cod fish, and xx. I have tested negative for celiac disease and Zonulin, but positive to [gut] candida, I go to a TCM/Acupuncture/Functional Med. doctor (who basically saved me 12 years ago, I was in such bad shape) every 2 weeks & am getting follow-up test on temporarily very high liver l & kidney value levels 1 month after my third COVID-19 vaccine and then returned to completely normal; and now I’m going to get tests done by an Endocrinologist. I think I’d like to try your treatment, but - as you can understand - I am terrified of eating fresh greens (got sick on sautéed spinach), and stopped eating garlic and onions because I’d get sick. I have a lot of trouble digesting those foods. My elimination is abnormal as well, of course. SO. Would you actually still recommend that I change my eating habits in accordance with your treatment? Would you consider a consult from an American of German descent? 😊

I tried keto it makes me worse and depressed. I do want to eat my favorite food again someday banana with peanut butter unfortunately I’m intolerant to it atm 😢 for 4 years now histamine intolerant started in 2018 after antibiotics and Advil destroyed my gut. I also had black mold exposure and my teeth had leaking amalgam got those out last year. I didn’t know what it was doctors polly drugged me with antipsychotic medication I’m guessing because they’re major antihistamine meds. Almost killed me and damaged my body bad with akathisia and dystonia. I pray I survive because in Oklahoma no one believes in histamine intolerance

How about "Leaky Gut", some naturopathic doctors say that the root cause of allergies is the leaky gut. The lining of our small intestine called the "villi" are so delicate and overtime they are destroyed because of diet especially those who eats a lot of glutinous foods, fried and soda. Once lining leaks, compounds that are not supposed to inter the bloodstream can now enter which causes the immune system to "alarm". What can you say about that theory? thanks!

Well perhaps its an issue of the microbyom and gut lining. If you can't digest food its cause the guys that help you digest it are the minority. I've also learned that extreme diets won't take you far with IBS. We tend to always want a quick fix and get impatient and frustrated when things take time. My strategy is to except where I'm at, monitor the small changes I'm witnessing and to incorporate small amounts of the foods I'm intolerant to, so that the guys in the gut lining can steadily increase. Good luck and health to you

@@samjarea don't agree, if you look at our teeth and the digestive system it is not to be carnivores, mostly plant life with some meats. The best diet has archaeological evidence in the Mediterranean diet, you can still see intact teeth in the skeletons that are very old and determine the health they have through their bones, the bones don't lie, except during periods of starvation/famine and even then you can determine through the bones when it happened and for how long.. ACV is the best vinegar, but is is still a vinegar, Lisa Breshinsky. Your liver and gut do not like vinegar especially if you are dealing with things like SIBO, gut issues in general and an overburdened liver. I bet there are other ppl out there who suffer with inflammations of the mucous membranes and VitC and acids make them suffer even more. We did chicken and potatoes for almost a year and then slowly reintroduced. None of the food suggested or supplements were an option for us, we reacted to them all. We now have chicken, cooked broccoli, apples and red grapes on our plate. We have no reactions. We react heavy to all sulfur rich foods and anything not frwsh anything or frozen. Anyone have any reliable sources for healing histamine in a YOUNG child. My daughter is 3. She’s an adventurous eater. I started making sourdough a year ago and growing my own food. I got into homesteading things like raw milk and making cheese and sauerkraut. She started trying a few bites of my kraut when I had some and started asking for some on her own. Then one day she had a reaction on her chin and it cascaded from there. She’s had some nagging rash on her face for about a month that flares up every day at some point. Some days are worse than others. Then I have noticed things like acid reflux, and flatulence, strange rashes on her back that come and go. She’s a been relatively healthy kid. But def has been on and off antibiotics a few times when she was a baby/toddler. In comparison, I would think my SON would be the one that would suffer this bc he has food allergies, eczema, ear infections as a baby and had speech delays (which he’s recovered from, how I don’t know, I prayed a LOT😫🤷🏻‍♀️) Anyways. It’s hard to even attempt to try to attack this in my three year old child! I’m not a nutritionist, lol, I just started understanding what constitutes REAL HEALTH when it comes to nutrition....and a lot of those foods are foods they tell you to avoid when your “histamine intolerance/overburdened” Anyone with help or experience with children please help

I have been flushing for 10 years, and it slowly became worse & worse, doctors are useless, and if anything make everything worse with the antibiotics and things that ONLY suppress your immune system. I have been on the low histamine diet for over 2 years and I’m so Frustrated! I cannot reintroduce anything without a reaction (either flushing, stomach issues, gas, bloat, restless legs etc from Chocolate and caffeine)! I have had to do so much of my own research and feel like I hear so many contradictory messages. Deep down, I had a gut feeling it was the damn metals because my eczema has had tiny blisters, and when I looked it said that specific type of eczema often comes from nickel allergy. Then I found out I have the celiac gene and have had stomach issues since birth that nobody could figure out. NOW, I just want to feel better so desperately!!!! Is there a reason someone may react to sweet potato? I flush BAD with organic spinach, edamame, apple, chocolate, coffee, sweet potato and more....I’ve also read that many people with gluten issues also have issues with metal...and chocolate has nickel! It’s really crazy how uneducated our entire society is include doctors! I thank you for giving the info, I will try it, and hope to god it works. Should I explore other avenues like Oxalates, salicylate, lectin etc!? Would you recommend a fast before doing this new diet. I also knew it was detox because when I take magnesium consistently my eczema heals! So I know deep down it’s trying to get rid of something. Do you have safe detox info pretty please?

Last night i tried to have some sauerkraut (home made not store bought) i had an intense itching/ burning "histamine intolerance" reaction on my arms. It intensified after having the ginger, garlic, lemon, honey liver elixer.
