Histology of Thin skin\Hairy Skin

Skin is the largest organ of the body
the skin is of two types
1: thick skin
2 : thin skin
THIN SKIN
the think skin is also called as the Hairy skin
it contains many hair follicle and sebaceous glands
it is present in all parts of the body except the palms of hands and soles of feet
in the thin skin it is charecterised by the thin keratin layer over epidermis and thin stratum corneum
the dermis is very thick when compared with dermis of thick skin

Thin skin consist of 3 layers . Granulosum and lucidium is absent
