1:20 central asia is Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan. Some people count Afghanistan too, but it's not actually considered central Asia. And yes, Kazakhstan was USSR for like 3 days, lol.
