Well put Misses Hunter. African Americans are forced to keep rebuilding, and the pattern of building up and being destroyed in the disguise of riots is sickening. The law has been on their side from the start of time. I don’t think we should stop.

It's not a difficult discussion or teachings. America just doesn't want people to be aware of atrocities against Black progression and Black people's African roots. America can't look herself in the mirror.

This is powerful information, for sure! Salute, to Mr. Church. I’ve heard his name a few times before, but, his name and work needs to be celebrated more, for sure.

The Memphis Riots! Uggh!! PURE JEALOUSY! ENVY! Speaking of Southern terrorism, retired professor Dr. Marvin Dunn is a foremost authority on the subject of Black History in the state of Florida. His current focus is documenting anti-Black violence, and collecting “blood soil” from Florida’s killing fields and lynching sites. Last week, Dr. Dunn discovered two burial mounds near Rosewood, Florida. There were bloodier racial incidents in the state’s history, but Rosewood is best known by most Americans because of the 1990s movie bearing its name. The “Miami Herald” newspaper is scheduled to publish articles on last week’s findings.

What goes around comes around... cliché I know...BUT TRUE It may take centuries but it will happen and the roles will be completely switched... not for vengeance OR blood and retribution BUT THAT IS THE NATURAL ORDER OF THINGS ... you do wrong in the dark no matter if no one sees it ... you will see justice in one way or another !💯✊🏼

Where did you get the information that his grandmother was from Madagascar? I read the Robert Churchs' biographies, written by his daughter and granddaughter, and the only information they had about Church Sr's grandmother was that she was a black princess on an island, but it didn't say which one Some other cool facts about Church Sr: - Church Sr also bankrolled Teddy Roosevelt and told Teddy that the money will stop if he didn't meet with Booker T. Washington!! That's why Teddy was the first president to invite a black person to the White House - He is arguably singlehandedly the reason why Memphis is black city. White people were the only ones who could afford to leave the city during the epidemic. When he bought all the real estate, the only people left to reside in the buildings were black - He has almosttttt the first black postmaster general, but the president knew the country wasn't ready for a black man in that position yet

Respectfully, truth and facts are difficult to take sometime, but must be told together. During this time period there should also be some Native, Hispanic European, and Asian American history truth/facts that have to be told as well. Every ethnic scholar will be able to collaborate honestly to the history of each time period. These periods may hurt but it may prevent present and future distortions and separations. History merged will give a better perspective to be more united based on truth and facts. There will not be evolution if you can't learn from the negative to never repeat and learn from the positive to enhance and grow. If the USA wants to grow on a solid foundation all truths and facts have to be told together. Peace.

He bought his 1st Property in *"1862"* ? That was the year the Civil War Started. Was the year mistaken or was there a real estate freedom allowing for persons of Color to freely purchase land? The Irish statement would better be understood if it was also noted that: *"the Irish also incurred prejudice, they were oppressed in their homeland, routinely sold into slavery, and countless were held as Indentured Servants". It would be a realistic idea for them to "ask how", as they too were looking for a way out of oppression and poverty. We must apply our Higher Mind, it is the key to Wisdom and deserves to be a required Thought Practice for Academia, and Researchers. ... lest we be Judgemental, which is the same energy of the prejudice minds. The Irish would have been easy "Flying Monkeys" for those whom desired to remove and desired to Control. Victims are Victims, lacking the education and the training to understand that our Ego is our weakness, our strength is fully in our Higher Mind and this supported by the "Universal Law of Attraction", as defined by Quantum Physics. Hope to see more History facts and know that History is recorded for future learning. Best Thoughts and Wellbeing...

Your history of Robert reed Church Sr is somewhat inaccurate. His father (did not rape his mother) his mother was given to him by his friend who was the Plantation owner. He loved his mother and in her deathbed requested he come and take his son which he did. However, he could not acknowledge his son, it was the South, but he loved his son and taught him everything he could to be sure he had skills to prosper. When Union gunboats attacked his father's paddle wheelers on the Missisippi, Robert Reed Church jumped overboard and ist on the shores of Memphis. He did have a variety f jobs and eventually opened a saloon . There was a race riot after Union troops that had occupied Memphis left. The Yellow Fever plagues of 1863, 1865 and 1868 decimated the fleeing population, Church stayed and bought up land around Beale Street at $.10 on the dollar eventually becoming the first Black Millionaire. Greenwood Oklahoma the Black Wall Street, was not founded by Church but by Ottowa W Gurley a Black teacher and postal worker in Arkansas . There are many more inaccuracies (see the Robert Church Papers owned by his estate).
